In their respective locations, the two of them, Raon and Lia, began their second missions.

There were no such unexpected occurrences in the case of Lia except the incessant chattering of the Elder's apprentice, whom she had to bring along for the identification and collection of the materials.

Generally, the runes used in formations could be drawn using the blood of some specific demon beasts mixed with various proportions of powdered herbs, stones, ores, or other materials.

It was pretty flexible given how even blacksmiths used runes to etch on weapons that added to their strength, but they weren't proper formations per se.

They were technically just runes etched on metal surfaces that worked to enhance the weapons' strength or increase the flow of spiritual energy.
