The man seemed to notice the confusion on her face and shook his head.
"No, it's nothing. Honestly, most Siderans'd forget much about it, too. Only survives in places like this."
"Oh? It's fallen out of practice?" How interesting. The books she'd read hadn't mentioned any sort of religion like that.
"Yeah," the smithy shrugged, "A long time back. Just old folks an' remote villages, really. And mining towns like this one, of course."
"Of course?" She blinked at him and his tone, "Mining? Does mining have to do with religion?"
"Of course it does," He seemed almost offended by the implication that the two weren't intertwined, though she could tell it wasn't towards her, but at something she wasn't quite following.
"What else is the reason to go digging into the ground and moving the stones that've lain in the same place since time began, eh?"
Rache had no idea.
