The medic's fingers lightly scratched the baby goat's ears, who seemed blissed out by the affection.
"How...would one raise such a kid...?" She tilted her head.
"Much like any other goat. However, it can't be sent for labor or used in herding or studding." She shook her head. "He'll only survive if he's given a peaceful and relaxed life. No straining him, physically or emotionally."
"...So... I need to give him food and a peaceful and loving home. No strain." Rache summarized. The medic gave her a smile.
"If that's possible, yes." The medic frowned. "I'm afraid if you're hoping to salvage him for work with this treatment, it's a lost cause."
"He's not a lost cause!" She exclaimed, her voice coming out sharper than she'd intended it.
