Capítulo 24: Chapter 24 - Illusion

After returning to the palace, I isolated myself in my bed-chamber. My entire body was as if burning, an unfamiliar sensation I had never experienced before. I was still in awe, thinking about how far Xavier was prepared to go for my sake.

Even though we used separate carriages when returning, this entire time, I could feel Xavier's wolf. It was as if I could almost touch his soul.

My hands reached my neck unconsciously on the piercing in my skin. The memories flashed inside my mind.

No one even dared to flinch. Xavier had always been bold, not unknown to the elders. However, marking his Luna in front of the ancient Luna's sanctum had frozen them from their core. The maids did not dare to raise their eyes.

Silence had engulfed the entire shrine. Xavier removed his lips from my neck, meeting our eyes. Xavier's eyes were glowing red.
