Capítulo 15: Chapter Fifteen
Life was good for one Fiona Jackson, school was easy-going, she had a dating life and her fans still liked her. Only thing that could make it better is if she can finally get the ban lifted from her in the game. She had to make her own weapons, clothes and deal with quests by herself. She was becoming a well known lone wolf because she didn't see the point of playing with other people with little benefit. She hung out with other players in towns or camps, but when they are fighting, they will just get in the way. She guess if she truly wanted to get the ban off, she should make her reputation better with the NPCs.
She wasn't killing them or sacrificing them anymore, she was just a little bitter at the beginning. Fortunately she had learned how to level up without needing to buy anything from the Shop and how to craft items with the Blueprints from the NPCs.

Lazy ignored them, black blood and unknown chunks of things covered her body, only her face was somewhat clean after she washed it with dirty water from a nearby pond. Behind her was a giant bear, getting pulled by her in a wagon. When she got to the store, a scared NCP greeted her while she set the bear set in the store. The NPC looked at the skillfully killed bear before saying a price. "500 gold and 289 silvers, that's all I can give you."
Lazy's Favorite Sweetie- That's half a price of what it should be!
Passerby1- Its what she deserve, she killed like fifteen Shop NPC
SuckMyFin- To be fair, they were like total a-holes
Princess Darling- why can't the game company forgive her yet?!
Maximum Power- She killed twelve NPC kids lol
Princess Darling- I can change her, I swear, JUST GIVE ME TIME!!!
Lazy took the gold and went to the Guild Hall, where she went straight to the bar. Looking at the mission on the board, she ignored the wide berth that the people gave her. Pointing at the mission with a bodybuilder zombie on it, she sat down. "Give me that one, Bob and one banana strawberry smoothie."
"Bob was my brother, I am Robert." The bartender glared at her as he slammed the paper on the counter.
Lazy blinked at him, "I knew I killed him, you guys look so much alike, are you twins?"
"Yes, we are," he glared at her and right in front of her, he spat in a cup before putting a light pink drink in it. "Here's your drink."

Juliette laughed loudly as Fiona started to burn down a Bank in front of Guards before running away. She started to watch her live plays more often after they started dating. At first, she just wanted to see how she acted when she isn't around her. But she started to enjoy the chaos that followed her in the game. If she didn't know better, she would say that someone in the game company hated her. But half of the time, Fiona turned a small thing into something bigger for fun.
It got a hundred times better after the NPCs had started to curse after a recent update. Now instead of straight up violence, she started to argue with them and curse back. NPCs had started to get back at her, mostly the ones related to the ones she killed. Other players who killed NPCs started to get the same treatment. Videos of people showing how npcs treated them were showing up. Most games didn't have random NPCs chasing after you for vengeance, so it was fun for people to see how far they would go. Fiona's reputation with them got too bad to save on her account and had decided it was helpless to save it. Instead she will get them to fear her. So she has been creating chaos everywhere.
Juliette laughed even harder when a Ban Notice showed up in front of Lazy's avatar.
"Well.... I guess I have to get a new account until I get this sorted out. Do you guys want to play Enter: The City- hey, my datemate is watching! Hi, did you see that I got banned? Do you want to join me? I can wait for you to go the Pod Center." Fiona waved at the camera, immediately getting happy.
(Me) I_Can_See_The_Stars- Yeah, I can only play a couple arounds, I have to go to work in the morning

When Juliette met Fiona in the game, a grin appeared on her face as she walked up to her. "Lazy! What mode are we playing today?"
Fiona picked her up and spun a couple times, Juliette laughed when she set her down. "We are playing Treasure Hunt, one of the newer ones." She explained her the rules to her. "There are twenty people in the game, we will start in one location, no killing for the first ten minutes. A NPC will give us a mission and a map, so everyone will know where it is, but right after the meeting is over, we will get dropped off in random warehouses all over the city. Our job is find the treasure, get it to our warehouse and hid it until the game is over."
"How do we know who has it?"
"The treasure has a GPS on it, if we can't get the treasure first, we have to get the location pad." Fiona brought up photos of the location pad, it was a plain tablet with a compass on it. "The pad is usually in the house of the owner, so you have to find clues and look for their place."
"Wait, this sounds like we are thieves," Juliette looked at the video of someone breaking in a house. "Are we art thieves?"
"Thief is such a strong word," Fiona laughed before moving on. "Okay, so we have to make a party, we can have up to five people and two skills."

Juliette looked down at the ground from the top of a tall building, touching her earpiece to talk to Fiona. "Does the game allow you to switch skillsets?"
"Sorry, sweetpea, I tried to tell you," Fiona apologized before she sent a blueprint of the building. "The diptych is in the main office, which is the 73 floor, about 57 floors below you. Do you want to go through the vents?"
"No, it will be faster if I go through the window," Juliette breathed in the night air for a moment, before she started up her drone. Holding onto it, she jumped off the building, carefully aiming for the office as she slowly glided down. She didn't dare look down while her hand started to sweat.
"The security alarm system will be down in ten seconds, also do you know what a diptych is?"
Juliette pulled out her silent gun from her 'bag', a one shot gun sadly and on the ten second mark, shot at window before landing in the empty office. "Diptych is usually two pieces of art that are meant to be together. The Dawn and Dusk are actually paintings, almost five thousand years old, painted by OAK."
Juliette looked at all of the obvious traps and a perfect route straight to the paintings behind the glass. She turned away and started looking around office, Going around the minefield surrounding the painting, she looked through everything in the office. "The lovers in the painting are Suk and Yeol, it was when Government K was going through a terrible civil war, most governments actually. The Government K had a imperial ruling at that time, the status of Nobles and commoners were extremely far apart. Yeol was the youngest prince, while Suk was the son of a freed slave."
"If you are looking for a trigger or a hidden door, try that small pair of jade lovebirds, the owner we are stealing from seems to like paired art work." Fiona pointed out to her, while watching her though the hacked cameras. "How did they fall in love then?"
"Suk was one of the most beautiful Alphas at that time, it was difficult for him to keep a job. People caused trouble for him at work often. Suk could only find a job as a hidden singer after he had a horrible accident. Yeol had meet him when he was disguised as a commoner, when he heard the voice of Suk, he had fallen in love." Juliette picked the jade lovebirds curious, only to see imprints of the "Phoenix" and "Dragon" Chinese words on the bottom. She took them with her as she walked to another painting with a beautifully done frame.
"Yeol had started to gift Suk various expensive gifts secretly, leaving notes of encouragement." Juliette looked closely at the frame, seeing the familiar words on it. When she pushed the Phoenix lovebird on the frame to match up with the words, it made a quiet click. She did it again with the other one before stepping back, when nothing happened. Seeing the lovebirds facing up, she tried to twist them so the lovebirds can face each other.
The frame of the painting popped up, opening to show them a exact copy of the Dawn and Dusk painting, the real version.
"Aren't they beautiful?"
"Babe, I want to know what happened next!"
"Not right now, make sure the car is at the park, I think I can glide down there or nearby."

MsJohnson Maybe what I need is a laptop, this is the fourth chapter I wrote since I borrowed my mom's. I am also not proofreading anything. I am publish them right after I get done. (My goal is 1200 words a chapter by the way.) (This is slice of life, no plot in sight, if you can't tell by now lol.)
