Capítulo 31: Diya Edwina Harrington

"You…what?!" Diya shouted as she stood up. "Ah, sorry, I can't help you, even though you're my brother." Diya's breath became heavy as she imagined the pain Anastasia must be feeling. She was tasked with handling a company on the brink of bankruptcy, lost her father, severed her relationship with her stepsister, was deceived, and now discovered that the person she married was someone who didn't even want to marry her.

"Please…" Daniel reached for Diya's hand. "Help me, you're the only one I can turn to…"

"You know what? Let her breathe," Diya said, furrowing her brows. "Give her some space. She must be suffocated right now." Her eyes began to redden as she thought about Anastasia. She deeply regretted encouraging Anastasia to accept Daniel's offer, especially if she'd known her brother would act this quickly. This marriage wasn't meant to happen this way.

"But what if…" Daniel hesitated, "What if she asks me to let her go?"
