This morning, they had P.E. in their first period. The little dwarves did not seem enthusiastic about sports. They didn't like doing activities that could produce sweat. They kept throwing various reasons to skip the period, but nothing was strong enough to free them from doing the activities that made them sweat.
Those students were different from Zhou Yongliang who looked very excited when he and his friends walked towards the sports hall. In his new tracksuits, the boy kept smiling and babbling, saying that he really liked sports and often worked out together with his late grandfather in the village. Sport made him felt so nostalgic, and he missed his late grandfather.
The school also supported sports so much. They built a sports hall that was very spacious and had complete facilities. They could do sports like basketball, badminton, or volleyball in the big hall. They could do the activities on the outdoor field, but sometimes the teacher preferred to use the indoor field.
Just like today. It was Summer, and doing sport outdoor probably was not a good idea. The scorching sun may burn their skins, and some weak students may also get a heatstroke. That was why the teacher chose the indoor hall for today's activity, and the students were so thankful for that.
Three Shenshi members plus Zhou Yongliang finally arrived at the sports hall. In that spacious hall with very high ceilings, their classmates were already neatly lined up in front of a teacher. Zhou Yongliang and his friends immediately joined the group.
"For today's activity, we will only play games." Hearing the "games" word brought joy to the students. "You will play dodgeball today, and the system is an elimination system. You will be divided into two teams, and you can choose your own team. The winner team is the first team that eliminates all members of the opposing team. Understood?"
The students simultaneously answered the teacher's question with a loud "yes." There were 25 students in the class, but one student had not attended school since yesterday because he didn't feel well. Therefore, there were currently 24 students and would be divided into 2 groups.
The students were left to choose their own team, and of course, they chose friends they feel familiar with to make into groups. It was not surprising that Zhou Yongliang, Ren Weisheng, Chen Guangli, and Huang Bo were in the same group.
Zhou Yongliang briefly glanced at Yang Liu, and he knew that they wouldn't be in one group for sure. The mysterious youth was pulled by Fang Xing to choose another group.
He still remembered how he met the tall student last night. The black-haired student was so cold toward him last night. Even after he finished talking with the manager, he didn't say anything to him and just left the convenience store. That was not polite at all, but Zhou Yongliang could only sigh while shaking his head.
Chen Guangli and Fang Xing were chosen by their group members as team captains, and Zhou Yongliang frowned when he noticed Ren Weisheng and Huang Bo teased Chen Guangli about that.
The two captains did the rock, paper, scissors to determine which team would get the ball first and had the opportunity to attack. Chen Guangli took out a pair of scissors, while Fang Xing took out a rock. Chen Guangli's team had to swallow a bitter pill because they had to face the opposing team's attack first. Fang Xing smirked at him, and he could only pout his lips in annoyance.
"Hey, Yongliang, you don't want to take off your glasses first? It may break into pieces if it gets hit by the ball," Huang Bo warned the new student as he and his teammates were getting ready in their defensive area.
A dodgeball game was played in an area the size of a volleyball field. The two teams would be in two parts of the area and were bounded by a line. Players were not allowed to cross into the opponent's area when attacking with the ball.
"No, Huang Bo. In this game, we shouldn't aim for the face. We all can only aim for the body and legs. We shouldn't throw too hard so that no player gets injured."
Huang Bo only shrugged at Zhou Yongliang's refusal. That was the rules of their game today. Zhou Yongliang felt safe after hearing the rules, so he opted to not take off his round glasses.
Both teams were ready in their respective areas. The ball was in Fang Xing's hands since he won the rock, paper, scissor earlier. The match officially started when the teacher blew the whistle. Fang Xing didn't waste the time and directly threw the ball at… Chen Guangli? Yes, Fang Xing directly aimed for Chen Guangli.
Fortunately, Chen Guangli was agile enough to avoid the ball that nearly hit his waist. The team captain looked at Fang Xing furiously, demanding an explanation as to why his secret lover attacked him like that.
Not wanting to mince words, Chen Guangli finally returned to pick up the ball that had fallen in the area of his team's defense, then targeted Fang Xing back. He threw the ball at Fang Xing, but Fang Xing quickly jumped up as he spread his legs so that the ball darted between his legs.
Fang Xing was already on the verge of picking up the ball rolling in his area, but Yang Liu was already ahead of him. "Get a room and solve your household problems there. It's not a place for that," the taller student whispered at him.
Hearing the warning, Fang Xing chuckled casually. "There's no household problems between us. I just want to tease him."
Yang Liu did not reply. He focused his eyes on attacking the opposing team. His sharp gaze locked onto the chubbiest figure in the opponent's area. An easy target, he thought. With great accuracy, Yang Liu threw the ball, and... Ren Weisheng was eliminated after Yang Liu's ball hit his foot which was wrapped in a neon yellow shoe.
The short man casually walked outside the match area. He took a position outside the opposing team's defensive box, preparing to attack if a ball rolled off the field.
Now, the ball was in Zhou Yongliang's hands. The man, who was still calmly wearing glasses, was not picky to find the target. He just threw the ball at his opponent who was standing in front and didn't seem ready to take an attack. He did a great job when he successfully hit a student named Fang Qiqiang.
The game continued. The two teams continued to buy and sell attacks until finally, there were only a few players left in the match area. Fang Xing's team had three players left in their area, but he had been eliminated after he was unable to avoid Chen Guangli's attack, which accurately hit his left thigh. Now, there were only Yang Liu, Zou An, and Han Yusheng in the team.
Meanwhile, Chen Guangli's team only had two players on the field, and they were Zhou Yongliang and Huang Bo. Chen Guangli himself was knocked out by Yang Liu's extremely accurate attack a few minutes ago.
Five players on the field seemed to be trying to catch their breath. They all looked tired as sweat poured down their foreheads. To be precise, almost all of them looked tired because Yang Liu still looked fit until now.
The rubber ball was currently in Yang Liu's hand. He confidently looked at Zhou Yongliang and Huang Bo in turn as if he were selecting the right target. His eyes then locked onto Zhou Yongliang's figure. He immediately threw the ball at Zhou Yongliang's feet, but the target managed to dodge to the side. The ball rolled down near Zhou Yongliang's feet, and he quickly grabbed it with his hands.
Zhou Yongliang stared at Yang Liu sharply, intending to take revenge on the attack he carried out earlier. He was aiming for Yang Liu, but it was a bit difficult because Yang Liu kept running to the right and left to outwit him. In the end, the ball thrown by Zhou Yongliang missed the target.
Yang Liu smirked as he picked up the ball, which was still in his team area. He looked down on the bespectacled figure who was standing a few meters in front of him. For some reason, this match felt like a two-person match. Other players were considered non-existent by them. No one knew the reason for their action, though.
Yang Liu prepared to throw, trying to lock onto the target that was currently moving to make him difficult to focus. But, Yang Liu once again successfully locked his target. He calculated in his head, and he threw the ball hard at his target. As a result, the target fell backward as the ball hit him very hard in the face. The round glasses were broken in half, and the sheet of glass was destroyed.
I just write this book up to chapter 60s, but I think this book will be having a lot of chapters. I'm not sure if there are readers who wait for this book, but I'll continue this book :)
