Capítulo 58: Rise of Whirlwind

The loud winds of winter slammed the windows open and the curtains swirled violently, all the while, a woman in her fifties stood still and silent near the window. Her face was calm but the fire inside her eyes raged as violent as the whirlwinds outside.

It was grand empress Senova.

She let out a tired sigh and leaned against the wall.

It had been so many years, and yet she couldn't let go of the heavy burden of her heart. The time for Izekiel's end was edging close and she should be happy, relieved that the man who wronged her and her sons was finally paying for his sins.

She couldn't be careless and had thus commanded all those that can support him to be confined in their bed chambers.
