Capítulo 270: Raul’s Return II

Raul gritted his teeth, after Leonard had spoken and left the room.

Azeera.

He would deal with her later. He thought, his senses suddenly aware that Olivera was staring at him keenly.

He wanted to hug her and shower kisses on her, but he knew he couldn't, and wouldn't, and so, he donned the cold mask on his face, deciding it was time to let her go, so that she wouldn't corrupt his resolve.

"Why are you standing there? Won't you go to bed?" He asked her, his voice ringing with disdain, and aloofness.

"I'm waiting for you. How have you been?" Olivera asked, refusing to acknowledge the evil foreboding that was beginning to take shape in her chest.

"Go to bed, slave. And don't ask stupid questions." Raul answered, turning his lips up as if disgusted by her presence.

Olivera's heart sank as Raul's cold voice washed over her, refusing to answer her genuine concern.
