In a world where anything and everything supernatural exist, there is a girl named Marlene Hendrix who lives in the calm town of Missouri. Or she thought it was calm. Marlene has had a tough childhood. An absentee mom and a toxic dad who can not handle his alcohol as well as he thinks he can. She ends up living with her grandparents.
