Capítulo 23: Hubby, Don't Let this Hurt Your Self-esteem

Tang Beibei didn't expect the glass to slip off her hands. She had brought him a glass of warm water. Although it wasn't boiling temperature, it was still hot. 

She wanted to find tissues, but there were none in the study. She could only use her sleeve to dry him.

"Hubby, I'm so sorry."

There was no reply.

The water was hot, but as a disabled man, Jiang Jingchen had to pretend to be weak and not move. He endured the pain and pushed her away calmly. 

"It's my fault. I suddenly felt weak, and my hands slipped."

"If only I had left it on the table."

Tang Beibei felt regretful. She spilled water all over him, but he didn't move at all. It must be because of his paralysis that he couldn't feel any pain. 

"Beibei, why are you crying?"

Jiang Jingchen suddenly felt a little guilty when he saw her red eyes welled up in tears. 

"Hubby, it was hot water. Didn't you feel it?"
