Jin Si's words caused Xi Huanran to angrily glare at him.
After a while, the little girl seemed to have thought of something as she excitedly climbed down from the chair, saying, "Grandpa is home. I'll call him over right now. He'll believe me then!"
Jin Si silently stared.
The corners of his mouth twitched as he lifted Xi Huanran by the back of her collar again.
The little child struggled and kicked as she hung in the air. "Let me go!"
Jin Si placed her on the chair. His head was aching as he asked, "Are you done with lemon drops?"
Xi Huanran's mind raced. She stopped struggling and looked at Jin Si with a puzzled expression. "Didn't you say there are no more?"
"I'll bring you to the shop to buy more."
Jin Si was at a loss for words. Still, for some reason, he would rather bring Xi Huanran to buy another jar of lemon drops than give her the jar Qi Wu rejected.
Jin Si did not have time to think about it.
