Capítulo 38: Do you like him ?
When Anna finished drinking Mo Jingzhi asked,"What do you think about what I said before ?"
"Give me some time ", She didn't understand such feelings but she knew that she was abnormal whenever she was beside Mo Jingzhi.
" Don't go back " his tone was a bit pleading he knew the development was fast but he couldn't help himself.
Anna went into thought she actually was not replled by his proposal but was a hesitant whether to agree or not because although he had expressed his feelings she was not sure about hers.
She looked at him for a few minutes without speaking . Mo Jingzhi still didn't want her to go back so he tried to persuade her more ," I am just asking you to live at my place the same way as yesterday I won't cross my line before you are ready for anything.I just want to be in a close proximity to you . "
What he said was not wrong both of them lived together yesterday the atmosphere was quite harmonious she loved the feelings he gave her a sense of belonging she looked forward to this feelings.
After thinking it through she agreed," Okay ". hearing her answer Mo Jingzhi smile at her looking at his gentle smile a smile bloomed on Anna's face too . Two cold people who always show indifferent expression to others showed smile that only belonged to them .
After Anna went back to the guest room she lived in yesterday she found the his shirt she wore yesterday all went to wash up .
She came out lay down on the big bed ,she looked out through the window the moon was shining brightly just like something that lit up in her dark heart . She gazed at the moon for quite some time slowly her eyelids became heavy and dropped . Her breathing became slow and steady.
Mo Jingzhi brought her peace she lost all her vigilance when she was near him .
Mo Jingzhi was working late till three in the morning he had a lot of work to complete when he was reading a document he heard some noise from the kitchen went out only to see a drowsy Anna fidling with something. He went towards the kitchen .
Anna immediately noticed his presence she turned around said in a coy manner ," I am hungry".
Mo Jingzhi gave a low laugh he opened the refrigerator took out a lot of dishes some were cooked by him while the other were the ones Ann ordered but when he went to ask her if she wanted to have dinner she was already asleep.
He didn't have the heart to disturb her sleep . "What do you want to eat, the food you ordered is also delivered?"
Anna looked at the take away and then at the food cooked by Mo Jingzhi answered without hesitation "Of course the food you cooked is the best".
Hearing her words Mo Jingzhi's eyes lit up with joy he patted her head started warming the food.
He then served her also served himself Anna looked up at him in confusion,"Are hungry too ?"
" Of course little thing with no consciousness how can I eat when you didn't ". he scratched her nose in petting.
"I am not a little things",she swatted his hand angrily alas this man can really stir up her emotions she felt her 10 years of training and experience was all in vain .
Mo Jingzhi didn't refute just laughed lowly
then started eating. After eating he cleaned up everything let her go to sleep he also stopped working went back to sleep.
Early in the Morning both of them completed their daily routine when they were about to leave Anna looked up at him,"Boss can I take leave for two hours? ".
"Where are you going?"
"I want to visit Lu Jinnian "hearing the word Lu Jinnian made him sour he asked jealousy "why do you want to visit him ?"
She looked up at him strangely " It's a secret" .
He knew that if she didn't want to say it he can't take anything out of her . He looked at her ," "Okay but I will drive you there ".
Anna agreed anyway she had no problem so Mo Jingzhi dropped her downstairs at Lu corps "Come back early " looking at Mo Jingzhi childish expression Anna laughed out loud . Where is the cold buisness man she knew .
Anna got out of the car waved at him went upstairs. Mo Jingzhi looked at her back sighed kept chanting Lu Jinnian only loves Mu Ying they are just friends just friends . Slowly he drove out towards Mo corps .
Anna went upstairs to Lu Jinnian's office knocked went inside , Lu Jinnian was working seriously he looked up at Anna was surprised by her visit he thought she won't have time these few days won't visit him .
" Why are you here today?" he was curious of her sudden visit she always informed before visiting.
She said down on the sofa Lu Jinnian called assistant Rui to bring in juice Anna stopped him " Bring me a cup of cappuccino " .She subconsciously wanted to obey Mo Jingzhi since he asked her not to drink she will try her best to avoid it .
Lu Jinnian was surprised again . But he didn't dwell on it . After assistant Rui brought in cappuccino he went back .
" You didn't answer me " he wanted to know about her sudden visit .
" That my friend wants to know, how do you know if you like someone?" she was hesitating to ask for advise but among her friends only Lu Jinnian was madly in love she could only ask him .
" Mo Jingzhi confessed " Lu Jinnian blurted out .
" You ,how do you know ?" Anna was stunned she realised she sold herself she was frustrated now , her brain seems to have retired too with herself after coming to country I .
" Do I need to know naturally everyone can see it " He just didn't expect the development to be so fast , Mo Jingzhi was way faster that anyone .
"What do you like him too?" Anna looked at him with a tangled expression how can she answer whether she loved him or not she didn't understand what it meant .
" I don't know how can you understand if I like him ." She was clearly a fool in love her love life was clean slate.
" Okay you tell me how do you feel around him " , actually there was no need to explore her he already knew she liked Mo Jingzhi if she didn't she won't come to find him early in the morning.
" I , I can't control my feelings around him , my heartbeat accelerate when he smiles at me I like it when he is concerned about me also I like the food he made " Anna was immersed in expressing what she taught after she finished speaking her gaze collided with Lu Jinnian's teasing gaze her face turned red unnaturally .
It was Lu Jinnian's turned to be astonished Anna's shy expression was a rare sight it can't be a rare sight this was clearly the first time he saw her shy he wanted to record a video,this face paralysis had such a day he couldn't help but feel excited.
" If you don't have an answer I am leaving ", seeing her standing up he hurriedly stopped her .
"Wait wait, actually you know in your heart that you like him if you didn't then you won't come find me ,"Anna agreed with what Lu Jinnian said she nodded seriously.
"Okay I know, Is Ava here? ," Ava's name diverted his attention completely. The corner of his mouth rose . He was excited when he thought his Mu Ying could wake up call him brother Jinnian sweetly.
"Yes she's here she has arranged everything Mu Ying will undergo a surgery in a few days."he was quite grateful to Anna , his eyes turned red nobody knew how much he longed for Mu Ying to wake up she was the light in his life.
"Anna thank you " he thanked her solemnly he knew if not for her there may be no hope .
Anna in response stood up waved her hand at him leaving she didn't like formalities she only knew if she treated someone as her own she should try her best for them .
There are lots of friends but a friend like Anna is hard to come by she knew if Ava came everyone would slowly come to her may be they will be in danger but she decided to take this risk for Lu Jinnian.
