Capítulo 1: Heather Flinton

My name is Heather Flinton, age 12. I am an orphan at "The Pendleton Way Orphanage". There are many secrets at this orphanage, and I want to know all about them. I would say it's nosy, but more in a curious way. I don't trust anyone here but one person, Lucy. Lucy is not only my best friend, but my real blood twin sister. We always tell each other everything and do almost everything together. I guess you could call us inseparable. We have been at this orphanage longer than any of the other children here. Me, Lucy, and two others are the oldest in this place, and we are all like family. Anyways, I am really smart. Each of us have our own special abilities, like for instance, my special ability is reading minds. It seems weird, but it's all about someone's character, and how they express their emotions. To read someone's mind, you must fully understand that person to dig deeper into their thoughts.
