Resumen
The smell of blood invaded my nostrils. I watched helplessly as the woman standing over me raised her sword. I was completely drained, I had no mana left, no items, nothing. As the crimson tendrils held me down by my arms and legs, all I could do was wait for my death.
As the sword drew near, I felt the last bit of courage I had disappear. I was going to die. Alone. In this god forsaken place filled with evil. And for what? To protect those ‘friends’? The same people who mocked me, took advantage of, and used me?
Oh, who am I trying to fool? I was here only because of my own greed. Because I wanted to be useful to someone. Because I wanted to that group to need me. To value me. To have a reason to keep me around. How naïve I was, thinking that power would grant those wishes. All it did was help build a wall between me and everyone else.
The sword approached. I saw the purple light reflect off the sword’s blade. After everything I went through, I hadn’t expected my death to be by the hands of another player. I saw her smile, but this time I didn’t think it was beautiful. It was an ugly smile because it was genuine. She was enjoying watching me die. She was enjoying killing me.
The sword struck my chest and pierced my heart. I let out a scream of pain and agony. The pain was so real, all of this was so real. It shouldn’t be, but it was. What should have been a simple game had become my new reality – all of our new reality. A reality filled with magic, war, blood, and death.
My vision darkened as the pain slowly faded. I felt the last of my vitality leave my body. It felt cold. I wondered to myself, when would I stop being? When would my thoughts disappear?
Soon, I saw those words I feared for all this time appear before me. “DEATH”, in the pale blue font the game always used. They remained suspended in the air for several seconds. It was over. After a long time of fighting, grinding, and exploring, it was finally over. I had died. This was the end of my story.
Suddenly, words before me shifted and changed into something different. I took a shallow breath as I heard a faint heartbeat.

Escribe una reseñaThe description of the novel is more like a future event. Character is the usual beta MC with not so well family. No 'friends' but somehow he hangs out with the popular ones. He doesn't understand why people behave the way they behave. It's like everyone owes him something and he expects too much from friends he barely met a week ago but is kinda indebted to them, maybe because they are the first friends he ever had. _ So far, there's no direct description of the VR-world. _ Story development is simply amazing. And because of MCs character, the story always gets me on edge as if something is about to happen. Got me completely hooked up. Didn't like the part where MC is in a scheme before the story even developed, the story hasn't directly given a hint but I can tell. Strong SAO vibes but I'm sure there's something different and author has plans for it. Well thought background of MCs friends. No grammatical errors and I realised that I didn't once binge read and read word to word. _ Updates are fast. _ Take away my powerstones.
Revelar spoilerI was hooked from the start. I like a fast-paced story with solid background. The author has a good grasp on the main plot and the characters develop nicely while the story unfolds. There were some times that the plot wavered but the end is satisfactory. The world background (well the novel in general) is very detailed with plenty of descriptions. Though it actually was overwhelming for me at times sinse every little detail was more or less important. 😅 A story well written to say the least, a bit dark maybe. In my opinion this story isn't so much about revenge, neither is it a watertight hero vs villain scenario. It is one of those novels where everyone can read it and form their own opinion. It is worth reading. Thank you for the time and effort, Dweia!
1 star yes 1 star because in the description of the novel that he was part of a scheme that doesn't end well and as the story begin the synopsis is put as a future event and I don't like that the future of the MC is already decided.
Revelar spoilerBruh this Nivel something else 😂😂😂 synopses had me thinkin it was a revenge novel. bulllllllShiiiiiiiit where is the backstabbing? Where is the revenge, wherE is the potential rival All we getting is a trAumAtized boy with trust issues and a potential harem that might not go anywhere becaue my guy Is always feelinglike something aint right 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️theonly thing i can give this novel is the writing quality is mad nice
Honestly, ordinarily this work would be at least 4 stars for me. The attention to detail is fantastic as the author seems to notice the little bits about this type of world and using powers that other authors miss. The writing itself is quite superb with the right mix of adjectives, vivid descriptions and no grammatical errors. The pacing of the world is jarred, we learn about the new world insidiously; slowly and in a measured manner for multiple chapters and then all of a sudden, information is flying our way from nowhere. This works for this novel though because it creates suspense and carries the reader along. The immediate flaw of the work is in character interactions, the characters are three-dimensional but in the author's attempt to make them very complex, they often come across as inconsistent, almost in-human. But the biggest flaw and the main reason for my rating is the MC. He is passive, naive and hopelessly reactive. Unlike other MC's who make things happen and take control, the MC lets things happen and only does something when in a tight spot. As a result, he has somehow ended up being a toy for multiple powerful forces due to his sheer stupidity. He feels very half-hearted without a shred of resolve and thinks and acts like 21st century, first-world **** who has yet to stop suckling at his mother's teat. He makes for an immensely frustrating read and has brought me to the brink of dropping this work multiple times. It is rare for such a good quality work to have one character Fuck it all up but somehow the author has managed to achieve that. And I, as a reader, do not know whether to be impressed at the finesse required to achieve such or angry that such a good book has been made sub par by the individual meant to be its linchpin.
Future event synopsis ruined it for me. Not a big fan of that. It was a major spoiler. I Wasted my time reading this. ___________________
the fact that the synopsis is not the start of the story but a far away event in the future makes the synopsis redundant. ppl read a book based on the synopsis because it sheds light on what to expect. But here ppl read the synopsis and then wonder why after all those chapters nothing happens. It's like this synopsis is from another book. very disappointing since I couldn't care less about the boring build up for his betrayal by his 'friends'. The worst part is that the story should only start after he dies and the endless chapters right now are filler chapters.
i really dont know what to say but i'll just say i am a bit dissapointed with the development of story so far the betrayal thta was foreshadowing is taking too long

Revelar spoilerI have only read 31 chapters right now. Writing quality is a 4 for me Update stability a 5 for one chap per day For me, the synopsis does help with future events but the problem here is that the synopsis spoils too much of what happens. The author could just say she and not mention who those people are. Why? Because there are characters that fit the description of the lady and they are not even a player. Just from the 31 chapters I read, some groups fit the description of the betrayal (the black wings who torture him)and if the synopsis was vague on what group is going to betray him then it can create suspense. 5 for how the story is developing but 1 for the synopsis. And for me the synopsis affects the story development so it is a 3 star for Story Development. I like the characters except for the black wings for me they are annoying. I don't get why there are people who hate the mc at the start(tbh the guy who rated this story 5 stars was the one whi complained) since it is reasonable he acts that way. Although he was, personally for me, too slow. So 3 stars I like how they don't give too much of the background at the start(looks at stuck as a dungeon mob who dedicated the entire 3rd chapter for world-building in the perspective of a guy who dies in chapter 5). For me 5 stars
Very good writing quality but very poor story design . There is no sense of anticipation in the first half of the story because of the synopsis.
The summary would make you believe the MC was somehow abused or mistreated. I've read the prologue (which is frustratingly long and lasts 5 chapters) and nothing of sorts is happening. In fact, everyone is super-nice to him and he is the one who acts weird and extremely paranoid. To main character, Kai, is some introverted kid with inferiority complex so deep, he flinches even when people give him compliments. He can't talk to his mother, he can't talk to his landlady and he can barely communicate with his new friends. If (on of his friends) wasn't so social and kept inviting him in, he'd probably never had any friends at all. All along the story (as far as I read) he is complaining on an on in his head, feeling miserable for no reason, even when his friends offer him amazing adventure, he somehow twists it in his head to feel like a victim of kidnapping. Its like if you constantly hear ominous music playing in the background of his life... Really, if something bad happens to him in the story, I would feel satisfaction. He probably deserves it at some point.
Pro: Good grammar, writing quality is very good compared to other novel’s on the site. Con: idot mc. He chooses not to Increase his stats using the system even after being nearly killed multiple times. Granted he does end up using them but he chose to remain weak for a very long time. I do understand having the mc be stupid, Naive, or weak but he has had multiple wake up calls and refuses to answer them. Pro: world design is very good. Especially with the way its shrouded in mystery and everything isnt given to you upfront like many novels on this site Con: thus far side character development has sucked im beginning to wonder why they are even there. I digress im not fully caught up on chaps but thus far instead of caring about characters I either wish for their deaths, especially Erik, Or i’m just plain indefferent about their wellbeing. Pro: despite his shortcomings MC seems human which i really enjoy and some of his actions actually make sense which I really enjoy These are my thoughts thus far and I do apologize if the spelling sucks WN turns of autocorrect on my phone. If anyone thinks in wrong about any of these feel free to reply
Revelar spoilerSoul Keeper had true potential. Soul Keeper was original, and well written. An excellent addition to the genre. Soul Keeper had standard tropes delivered with a smooth writing style. This was a smooth flowing story with lots of action and very likeable characters. I would recommend Soul Keeper to any fan of the genre. The characters were so real and memorable that they could step outside the pages and be in the room with you. I cared what happened to them as if they were my own friends and family. Soul Keeper kept me spell bound, and I was compelled to keep reading. Each scene flowed smoothly from one to the next. The world-building was superb and each scene was easy to visualize based on the character's senses and mood. Action scenes were vividly presented and easy to follow. I am blown away by the author’s ability to write such engaging, real-life, entertaining, phenomenal scenes. The writing style was consistent and used precise words so that exposition didn't slow the pace. There were no typographical and grammar errors that I remember.
False summary, just a hoax from the writer. A trivial novel, a hero, friends, a skirt girl, a trivial novel like the rest of the novel .hjkllllllkkkkkkkkkkkk
I would recommend this book it is great. Once you start reading you cant stop. Its a real page turner. The auther has an amazing talent.

I found little to no typos. The writing is clear and easy to understand. The world is interesting, there is a sense of discovery. The characters feel real. There is clear character development that I hope to see even more of in the future. I found the story to be engaging and fun. There is a certain amount of suspense that keeps me on edge and wanting for the next chapter. The chapters could be a bit longer. All in all, I'd definitely suggest anyone who likes this genre to give this story a try.
Autor Dweia
I'm just gonna keep this simple. Dweia, the author, knows what she/he is doing. The other book on here written by her/him, 'A Remnant of The Ancients' hooks you as fast as this one. The end of each chapter has you craving for answers and thirsting for more. The spelling and grammar is flawless, and the character building is superb! Make sure you definitely give this book and the author a chance, I promise you won't miss out!
