Diana was currently in a dire situation. With her mana running on empty coupled with her injuries, she was staring at defeat at the hands of the demon cultists. She could only muster up a flimsy layer of ice around her body as she prepared to endure the incoming attacks as long as she could.

"No, this can't be happening!"

On the ground, Cesare, Astrid, and the rest of the Ice Faction looked on in despair as their leader was losing this life-and-death battle. With her defeat, there was going to be no chance of them putting up a resistance against the rest of the Crimson Oath cult's forces.

"The Crimson Oath is invincible!"

The cultists, on the other hand, had delighted expressions on their faces. They were seeing their hopes come to reality. Their entire lives that were spent suffering under these selfish and power-hungry sorcerers were over. With their newfound powers, they were going to rid the world of sorcerers.
