Watching a person infront of her trainning with full of energy, making her claps her hands as that person blows the last attack before turning to her.
"Good work, Aurora! You have learned a lot and advanced in your training. "
"Hahaha, thank you Zalora. It's on your help that I can control all my powers. Without you, maybe this forest is already on fire."
This is Zalora, Aurora's other best friend. She trained Aurora to use her powers well since child. And she is the Magic Wolf who often takes care of Aurora and her mother in this forest.
And what is surprising for Aurora is that, Zalora is not at all surprised to find out that Aurora has incredible powers. It was like she had been expecting it from the beginning.
"Aurora, since you've mastered all your powers, there's something I want to tell you."
Zalora said as she sat on the grass, watching Aurora walk towards her and sit next to her with Benson.
"You need to know that your power is more stronger than any other human being."
"Another human? That means, is there another human with power like me ?!"
Aurora said as she looked at the glowing blue -haired magic wolf, with a crescent sign on her forehead as well as a chain of diamonds hanging in her neck. She also has magical powers but is in a weak state.
"Of course, but not many people have powers like you who have multiple powers. Still, you have to be careful because people like you are super rare."
"But... why don't you live in a crowded place? Like in the kingdom? Why in the forest?"
Finally, the question she had kept for years came out of her mouth. She was very curious why and wanted to go outside.
Zalora sighed, knowing that she would ask about this question someday.
"There's a reason why she doesn't live there."
"I want to go there, when can I go see the Kingdom?"
"You know, your mother won't let you go because it's too dangerous. You have to prepare before the impact."
"Right, there's a lot of danger there."
Her mother appeared behind the bushes staring at him, with a slightly angry face. He tried to restrain himself from venting his anger on Aurora, as he still knew nothing about the outside world.
"Mother? Are you here?"
"Never mind going out there without my permission."
"But mom, I want to go there! I want to meet other people-"
"Don't be stubborn, Aurora!"
Her mother gasped at the sight of tears streaming down Aurora's cheeks, then tried to reach for her hand. However, Aurora just back off and cried before ran home. Benson who was there immediately chased her from behind.
"You don't have to make her cry. I know, one day, she'll understand why you did this."
Her mother sighed and nodded while scratching her head, guilt filling the space of her heart when she realized she was already too strict with her son.
"You're right. She doesn't know anything and I can't blame her. Because she's still young, curiosity is exaggerated."
"But Sabrina, Aurora is no longer a child for you to keep this secret anymore. I think it's time for you to tell her everything, about why you forbade her to come out of this forest."
Sabrina nodded again, knowing what Zalora was saying was true as well. After all, until when does she want to keep a secret?
"Maybe you're right. Sooner or later, she'll find out about this one day. All right, I'll go home first and see how it goes. See you later, Zalora."
Zalora shook her head slowly as she watched Sabrina disappear from her sight, then smiled and lay on the grass whispering.
"Sabrina, you also know that Aurora is the only hope for the future."
••••••••••
When she got home, Sabrina saw the door of her house wide open, knowing that her daughter kept running into the house without paying any attention to her. Then she entered the house and closed the door before heading towards his daughter's room that not far from the living room.
"Aurora? Can i come in?"
Her mother knocked on the door as she leaned her ear against the door. The sound of sobbing cries coming from her daughter's room made her bit her lip with guilt.
"Come in ..."
She slowly stepped in after her daughter's soft voice responded, and sat down next to Aurora who was crying while covering her face with her legs crossed.
"Please don't get mad at me. I'm sorry, Aurora."
"I want to apologize too but... why don't you let me go to the Kingdom?"
She looked at his mother and hoped to get the answer he had wanted to know from long ago. Her mother gently stroked her hair, wiping the tears that wet Aurora's cheeks, then kissed her forehead.
"Next week, you will turn 18. By that time, i will tell you why. Because you are already qualified to know about what is going on."
Finally...
Her mother answered the question that had been locked in Aurora's heart. And the fact that she will find out about it soon making her widen her eyed in excited.
It's not like she really don't know about the outside since she has severly time lurking to see the Kingdom, but she only watched the Kingdom from afar.
She really want to know why the Kingdom looks very dark and not beautiful like the forest that she live now. She's immediately know there's something wrong with the Kingdom but couldn't find out about why.
But of course, she's a smart girl. She just couldn't go there and find out, making herself in danger as her mother has warned her everytime she tried to asked about the Kingdom.
Does another Kingdom near her place has been like that too? Dark and looks scary when there's always a dark cloud, filled the sky near it.
Can the people there see the sun? Or they can't compared which one is night time?
Her mind keep asking an impossible question, tried to killed herself from curiosity.
Aurora looked at her mother with a sweet smile and hugged her mother's body, while the old woman rubbed her back.
"All right mom, i'll waited until the time is come."
