Within a minute Dominic was settled, and Lexi had carefully folded him into her arms to give Dominic a hug.  Matthew, using his left arm, encircled both his wife and son.  It was clear to them both due to Dominic's sobs, he was extremely upset.  Lexi turned her head and looked directly into Matthew's eyes before whispering "We need to let him cry this out."
