Capítulo 146: To be someone's wife

After Evina left the mansion, Claire dragged her tired body towards the couch. 

She did not do anything exhausting but the conversation with her little sister drained her inside out. 

Except for the times when she was extremely anxious, Claire tended to be the optimistic one, unlike Elvina who saw the worst in every situation. 

But at this time, Claire felt like she was standing at crossroads. 

She was supposed to be the sister who looked after Elvina, who stayed sane and kept her sister sane by occasionally reminding her that Archer Cardale was a sly businessman, a human Elvina was not supposed to fall for.

But that scene somehow changed into Claire being excited about the progress between Archer and Elvina. 

Instead of preventing her sister from falling deeper into all this mess, she jumped into a mess herself. She started dating!
