Resumen
At six years old, Janus Ragnos bears the weight of impossible destinies. Born to a mother of tainted Netniem blood within the sacred halls of House Azure, his very existence threatens the delicate balance of the Shattered Empire. When the First Baptism ceremony plunges him into the depths of the Hells, he emerges not just marked, but crowned with a white-gold torq—a symbol of power unseen for centuries.
Plagued by visions of futures he cannot control and hunted by those who fear what he might become, Janus must navigate a deadly maze of politics and prophecy. As rival houses plot from the shadows and the Hells whisper their dark promises, he faces a choice: confront the monstrous truth of his heritage, or let it consume him.

I loved this book! The story is full of emotion, mystery, and adventure, and I really connected with the main character. Author's descriptions are so fascinating, and the journey between dreams and reality is really touching. Highly recommended!

Read the first three chapters, and I have to say the part that stands out to me the most is the prose used. The writing paints a very vivid picture, the vocabulary is very high (Found myself searching up more than just a few words 😭) and it is very masterfully crafted. As for the plot, I can't really say much, as it's obvious I haven't read enough to make a review on it. One critique that I do have is that at some moments, the elegant explanations can feel just a tad bit overdone and overwhelming. The first-person narrator is, thankfully, not passive and very active, as well as being very descriptive. My second only critique is that some sections can feel a bit info dumpy, especially in the beginning where there is little to no dialogue. But besides that, you have a great story.
