Capítulo 42: Chapter 42:The Meeting
Alex returned home after school alone, lost in his thoughts. A new problem had just been stacked on top of his already numerous problems and to-dos. And that was the final exam. The last exam before he would be free of the shackles of the school. It would have been an event filled with excitement and some trepidation. But for Alex, it was just filled with trepidation because he had been slacking in his studies.
It wasn't his fault that he had some kind of transformation to a vampire and then a sanguine which had caused him to not be focused on his studies. He really hoped that his transformation had also improved his brain. Otherwise, he would have to pull some all-nighters to make sure that he wouldn't fail.
Alex arrived at his house and entered inside to see Kira watching TV. She smiled at him as soon as he entered and said, "How was your day? "
"Nothing special. "Alex replied as he sat down on the sofa.
"Oh. "Kira said and went back to watching TV.
"Lilly will be meeting with her mother tomorrow and asked us to come. "Alex said and glanced at Kira.
"That's good. We need any help we can get. "Kira said and turned off the TV. She faced Alex and asked, "So Have you come to a decision yet? "
Alex turned to face her and nodded slowly.
Kira's face suddenly bloomed into a beautiful smile which captured Alex but he managed to pull himself from it.
"But now we need to find criminals. How are we going to do that? "Alex asked Kira as he was genuinely curious how they were going to be getting criminals that deserved death. They couldn't raid the prison as that would be a death wish.
"You don't have to worry about that. Leave it to me. Actually, I feel like we will find our first target tomorrow. You, get ready to make your first subordinate. "Kira said with her signature mysterious smile which Alex was nearly used to at this point.

The next day
Alex craned his neck to read the huge flashing Led sign which said, "Red Sun Hotel. "
The hotel was at least a thirty storied tall building with glass windows and huge screens.
It was his first time at such a luxurious hotel and also his first meeting with Lilly's mother. So, he was feeling nervous.
He fixed the suit that Lilly had bought for him yesterday on the glass window of the hotel. He looked quite dashing as his chestnut hair suited the black suit. His facial features had gotten sharper and he had lost the baby fat on his face.
While he didn't look mature, he did look a bit older than he was. And the best thing to happen after his transformation to sanguine, according to Alex, was definitely his skin getting whiter and fair. He had not a single blemish on his face and even his whole body which he had checked actually. This was probably the sole reason for his improved confidence.
"You look good, Alex," Kira said with a coquettish voice and batted her long eyelashes at him.
Alex knew she was joking and didn't take it to heart. He wanted to say of course and radiate some confidence but he couldn't while standing next to such a beauty.
She looked gorgeous today in her red sundress which reached just below her knees. Her blonde hair and fair complexion complemented the dress, increasing her beauty even more. She looked so soft and delicate in that dress.
He turned his eyes away before he became lost in Kira.
And then he saw Lilly walking towards them causing him to heave a sigh of relief. He didn't have to be alone with Kira anymore.
He didn't know what happened to her. She wasn't this beautiful before and didn't talk this way. And now her every movement caused butterflies in Alex's stomach.
"Let's go," Lilly said as she walked inside the hotel with Alex and Kira following behind her.
