Capítulo 31: WHAT I'VE DONE
Jack had none idea about which place Meyrlion would transport him. The moment he vanished is a moment where his view changes completely.
Everything was pitch black until Jack found a light somewhere around two o'clock direction. The light comes from a bonfire. Few people gather around it. Some of them are just trying to warm their bodies. It could hear some of them chanted an unknown mantra.
That light also helps to give Jack a basic understanding of his surroundings. He landed on an abandoned ancient temple. The energy emitted from this place was dense. No wonder those people choose this place as their base.
Jack said inwardly. "Nano, prepare for battle."

[system@localhost]# echo. adjusting the marksmanship skill level. night vision ready. target detected. killing field located. ready to engage contact. end.
Jack grabbed his two Beretta pistol in both his hands.
"Charge!" He whispers.

Meanwhile, in the temporary base camp of the unit I First Company of the Marcog Forces.
The cold and rainy night outside their base camp influences their willingness to patrol. They gather inside the ancient temple which is dry and warm. Those are an act that violates military discipline.
Their scout has worked hard to find the best place for their temporary base. This place had a very dense magical power. These were a very suitable place to launch a dark magic attack. They convert parts at the temple into a temporary base. Large enough to host twenty soldiers, half of them were mages.
It was a desperate moment for the mages in this unit. Unexpectedly, their enemies were very skillful enough to turn the tide. Someone intercepted their ultimate weapon in mid-air.
Their never-failed-attack was in vain. It took time and a lot of energy to release such an attack. The offerings they must pay to the dark entities of the underworld were costly. It is not unlimited too. From the beginning, it was never enough.
"Again? Two consecutive attacks! Both failed. Can you imagine that? How is that possible?" said the pale-faced mage. He looks exhausted.
"Calm down, Cornell, son of Nobbenhuis!" His leader, First Corporal Gust Poelakker scold him.
"Let's proceed with the ritual, this will be our ultimate attack," Gust said.
Everyone nod, but Cornell. He seemed to grumble and put on an angry face.
Everyone is continuing their duty, leaving him alone and gathering together in a circle, chanting an unknown mantra in unison and put their blood into the center of the ring.
The circle glow in red. A thin smoke appears, followed by a big flame that emerges from the rock floor.
From the center of the flame, a terrifying demoness-like figure appears. It had a bewitching body resembling a human female. She also had a two-horn in her head and reptile-like tail. Her four hands were holding scythes. Her three eyes emitted red light. Her face looks angry, but she smiles while showing her long fangs.
"Humans! what is it again ?" She shouted angrily.
"O, the terror of the night, we want you to relaunch your attack, according to our agreement before."
"You all had disturbed me twice. Do you want my service once more, human? The price will be unbearable!" She shouted with an evil smile drawn on her face.
"Stated your price!" Gust shouted at her impatiently.
She glared at him unhappily.
"Then I want your blood, your soul, your flesh !" She smiles wickedly.
Gust's face turns into grim.
"Contract sealed!" Gust said. "Not me. I'll give you the replacement. Take him" Gust grab Cornell's robe and throw him into the circle.
"Gust! You bastard !" Cornell's scream desperately.
Suddenly a shadow comes up out of nowhere. This shadow strolls getting closer to Gust and everyone else. Thus everyone could see that shadow. It's a man, with his two hands point at them.
Then a soft roar echoed.
bang! bang! bang! bang!
Gust's head is startled. His forehead had a hole now. He falls to the floor with his eyes wide open. His blood is pooling beneath his body.
The demoness laughs and sucked Gust's soul, his remain life force and his blood.
bang! bang! bang! bang!
Cornell body is startled. His heart had a hole now. Blood flows from his wound, flowing like a waterfall. He closes his eyes and passes away due to bleeding.
The demoness had a joyous laugh. "Hahahahahahaha.....". She's consume everything remains. Looks like her body slowly getting some evolved. Her dark purple skin turns into a tan. Her tail no longer exists.
The massacre continues.
bang! bang! bang! bang!
One by one falls. In a blink of an eye, all mages had met their tragic ending. Those are a grim reaper works!
bang! bang! bang! bang!
The knight who guards the mage is no exception.
bang ! bang ! bang ! bang !
The ground flooded with blood. The night is full of the stench of blood.
The demoness had a maniacal laugh. "Wahahahahahaha....."
She's happy, and overwhelming energy flows endlessly into her. Somehow, that massacre produces the negative energy she required to evolve massively.
Her evolution did not stop. She grows step by step — her power increase. Her appearance seems more resembling a normal female human being.
bang! bang! bang !
The last man standing now has fallen. Twenty bodies lay in the floor.
"Bravo Zulu! Mission accomplished." The grim reaper said with a satisfied tone. Seems like he did not put a shit with the existence of the demoness. Or maybe he does not count her as an enemy.
He suddenly vanishes into thin air without saying any more without any trace left. He already achieves his mission, not to execute some unreasonable killing.
The demoness laugh maniacally . "Wahahahahahaha....."
From her solar plexus, a deep purple-black ball appears. It sucked every remained body until no drop of blood left on no pieces of flesh left on the floor.
It scatters many unknown kinds of stuff, armor, and weaponry everywhere on the floor.
She felts sudden barrage of the wave of her energy. She sure these will reach her limit soon, just like a volcano which soon will erupt.
"Is this a breakthrough evolution?" she asks herself inwardly.
Her smile widened ear to ear. "Am I fortunate one?wahahahha ..."
A cocoon formed by the dark streak wrapped her body. Blaze of blue flame appears anywhere around her.
boom!
And then that cocoon explodes. Leave only a figure of a female, alone.
Those series of process keep continues and being repeat thrice.
The last time she steps out from the cocoon, no one will have a lousy premonition she was a demoness: only her dark aura and terrifying vibe of magical power emitted from hers.
Her long white hair was fluttering in the wind. Her iris was purple. Her face was exceptionally beauty. Her bewitching body still uncovered showing her smooth white, pale skin.
"This is... " She smiles wickedly "This is the power of Archduke." She said inwardly "He gave me the power to reach archduke power. Hahaahhaa after thousand years stuck in count ranks!"
She walks to place where that grim reaper vanishes. The demoness kneels, put her left hand in her right chest and shouted.
"Here I take an oath. I acknowledge you as my eternal master, the one that I recognize as the only king for me. Your offering is too outstanding. I'm very proud to receive your kindness. The contract is sealed, my lord.
I, Madelief, a demoness, current archduke of the bloodshed, swear absolute loyalty to you, O master. To follow, to protect and to obey you, until eternity."
A thunder streaks the pitch black night like approval of her oath.
She smiles. Then she chose one of the clothing sets and armor which scattered on the floor to cover her entire body. A military uniform now wraps her bewitching body. The uniform set of the magic knight from Marcog Forces.
Unnoticed by Jack, he already paid a contract price with a demoness called Madelief.
Now he got unnoticed irreversible, exclusive and premium deal from something he never realizes, a demon kind, an underworld being.
Will Jack's life be okay?
