After dinner at Elsa's home, everyone went their separate ways. Marina ensured that Jai came along to avoid leaving him behind. Once Dr. Chaudhary had left, Marina and Elandir urged Chris to join them at Marina's house so they could have a conversation with him.

"Tell me, what are you two planning?" Chris asked directly upon arriving at Marina's house, which was just a block away from Elsa's.

"Well, we want you to get back together," Marina said.

"I can do that by myself. I don't need your help, but thank you anyway."

"But we wanted to ensure that Elsa chooses you, not someone else... like Jai. They have a long history, you know," Marina pointed out.

Chris remained unbothered. "I know, and she chose me before. She will choose me again."

"Don't be too complacent, Chris. In the five years I've known Elsa, I've seen how irresistible she is to men, single or not. She didn't entertain any men before because she was busy with the kids.
