Chris shook his head while smiling before he continued washing the dishes. "Looks like you don't know yourself as well, princess."
"Let's go back to the part where you saw my arm glowing. Enough of that, leave it. We have a housekeeper who lives next door. She will take care of that later."
Elsa saw Chris finally put away the plate that he was washing and she handed him a hand towel.
"Thank you, princess." Chris winked once more and caused Elsa to roll her eyes.
"Elsa! My name is Elsa, why do you keep on calling me princess?" Their uninvited guest is really getting on her nerves and patience is not one of Elsa's strengths.
"I know what your name is. I just prefer calling you princess. You look like Princess Hera Van der Aart. Are you perhaps her?"
"Stop calling me that. I am starting to hate it. And no I am not her. Now tell me what you saw, when, and how."
"Alright, I will, geez… You are only interested in that part. I just told you about myself and you don't care about me." Chris crossed his arms and pouted like a child.
Elsa sighed at his pouting face, "Really? Stop being childish and start explaining."
"I really don't know that much either. I just woke up after feeling warm and saw your arm glowing. My wounds were healed as well. The warm feeling went away at the same time your arm stopped glowing."
Elsa handed both her arms to Chris and said, "Where did you see the glow? Which arm?"
Chris took her right arm and pointed at her wrist. "This was the part that was glowing."
'He is not lying!' Elsa stared at her right wrist and covered her mouth using her left hand. She was so shocked that she did not notice that Chris was already caressing her wrist and hand.
"Your hand is so smooth and soft," Chris uttered before lifting her hand and kissing it.
Elsa immediately took her hand back from him but was too curious to show her irritation. "What else did you see?"
"Well, I tried waking you up, but you were fast asleep. Then your dad came and tried to kill me…"
"He did what?" Elsa asked but Chris was so engrossed with his storytelling that he didn't hear her question.
"I think your dad knows something so I've sunk my claws into him and checked his memories but it's weird. I cannot go beyond a certain point. It was as if he or something was blocking it."
Elsa felt like she was talking with a lunatic so she abruptly stood up and exclaimed, "You did what?" as she looked down on Chris.
"I sunk my claws into your dad's nape and checked his memories. I told you earlier I am a werewolf but you were not listening. You only care about your glowing arm." Chris leaned on the back of the chair waiting for Elsa's reply.
But instead of replying Elsa walked out of the kitchen. With his fast speed, Chris quickly grabbed Elsa and pinned her to the wall.
"Just where do you think you're going, princess?" Chris said in a deep voice.
"I'm calling the police to report a lunatic in my house, or perhaps the psych ward." Elsa retorted as she tried to get away from Chris.
"You don't believe me but you think your glowing arm is real." Chris chuckled and showed Elsa his red eyes.
"Oh. My. God…" Elsa uttered before covering her mouth in astonishment.
"Do you believe me now?" Chris smirked and watched her stare at him in silence.
After a few moments, Elsa was able to compose herself and asked, "You're a vampire?!"
Chris facepalmed himself inwardly. Clearly, this woman who happened to be his mate is really not listening or interested in whatever he is saying about him.
"You're insulting me. I am not a cold-blooded, bloodsucking vampire. I already told you twice! I am a werewolf! A werewolf, princess!" Chris exclaimed.
"But you have red eyes, only demons and vampires have red eyes, right?" Elsa is really confused but ever since she was young, she already believes that there could be more that our eyes can see.
This is because of her supernatural and unexplainable experiences and her repetitive dreams. So Chris being another creature is something that she will believe and perhaps she is like him too.
"Listen, not all vampires and demons have red eyes. Where did you even get that idea anyway?" Chris massages his temples. "Same with werewolves only true alphas like me, can have red eyes. And you are one lucky woman to have a true alpha mate who is also a crown prince, and soon to be a King." Chris smirks arrogantly.
Elsa, who was still thinking about the existence of creatures other than humans, looked away frowning and was lost in thought.
'Did she even hear what I said?' Chris kept his gaze on Elsa waiting for her to react but she didn't.
[She's ignoring you. Do something! She must not lose interest in us. She's our mate, you must make her at least like us. Why do I even need to teach you this huh?] Yakobo impatiently uttered.
'I don't think she's even interested in us in the first place to lose it. She's more interested in finding out why her arm is glowing than me being a werewolf, a crown prince, or even a King. This woman is unbelievable! Other women would be throwing themselves at me with just one glance.' Chris told Yakobo who scoffed at the last part.
[I have an idea. Use her glowing arm to get close to her. Help her find the answers she is looking for. And perhaps we could also find out what happened to Hera and where she is.]
'Right… I forgot about Hera. Ok, let's do that.'
Chris gently grabs Elsa's chin and turns her head towards him. "How about I help you find out why your arm is glowing?"
"And why would you do that? What do you want in return?" Elsa doubts that this man will help her for free, she can tell just by the way he looks at her.
