He could still feel the pain of his bruised knuckles with the scratches he got from the branches and thorns in the bushes when he had a brawl with the Crown Prince.
Usually, he never cared much about the other prince's taunts, especially anything involving the crown. He knew Jake never liked to be King and loathed the responsibility that went with it. But to spite him, he would not renounce his right.
Jake would allow the Kingdom to crown him if it meant Liam could not sit on the throne. As of that moment, he did not care anymore as he drove as fast as he could on his way home, leaving everyone else, including the King and his grandfather.
"I don't want to be disturbed," Liam instructed Arnold as soon as he entered the palace, going straight to his favorite room.
