Capítulo 159: [Bonus chapter] Time to advance

As King Conradin was about to embark with his army to finally arrive in south Italy, great changes happened after the defeat of the French at the siege of Cosenza. Following the defeat, the French army retreated back to Potenza, opening the way for Corrado, the high marshal chosen by the king, to continue his march unopposed. Corrado and his troops were able to advance quickly and seize control of several important cities in southern Italy as the French army withdrew. In addition to raising their spirits, this victory strengthened Conradin's claim to the throne because he now had a significant presence in the area and more men fighting to support his claim.

After the battle, Corrado assigned Abraham, the leader of the Muslim archer contingent during the siege of Consenza,  the task of embarking in Apulia, where he would, alongside Baron Ramir, the officer knight in charge of ambushing the French supply train, lead the duchy to revolt under French control.
