"Roses? You had someone prepare this room for us?" Scarlet asked, surprised by the red flowers. "Are there any more surprises for this trip?"

"If I tell you then how would they be surprises? Your bags will come up soon for you to get changed. Outside is a little cold but we can go for a walk after you rest. Is the inside warm enough to your liking?" Ian asked, hoping this small home would be enough for her.

"It is. We can still open one of the windows to let a little breeze come in. Ian, must I hold you down to make you have portraits done? There is only art here as well. Prepare yourself as I might tie you to a chair soon," Scarlet said, eager to have his walls filled with his face.

"I won't put up a fight as it would fulfil one of my fantasies but it would be a little awkward for the painter, wouldn't it?" Ian replied.
