After coming to the capital, I stayed quietly and carried out my duties as a student. And without realizing it, seven months had passed since I entered school.
Today was just a normal day as usual, I'd love to say that but that was before a bug barged into my room.
Previously, I wanted to sleep after a tiring day as a student, but suddenly my magic perception caught a presence not far from my apartment.
I was just about to ignore it until suddenly, that presence approached at high speed and instantly shattered my bedroom window.
Is this person crazy? We're in the middle of town. Even though it's night, there are still knights patrolling not far from where I am.
The figure wore a black coat and a round hat, and held a red sword.
"You are Magnus Thornblade, the eldest son of Baron Thornblade, am I right?" He asked casually like he didn't just break my window.
Is he an assassin? but I haven't done anything conspicuous in these seven months.
Then again, if he really was an assassin, would he do something stupid like force his way through the window and make a scene?
Or he is simply overly confident in his abilities.
"Yes." I answered casually.
He smiled evilly and started to raise his sword, "Good, now die." He started towards me and immediately wanted to slash my head, it looked like he wanted to end this as soon as possible.
Too bad for him, his target was me.
His speed is really good, if his opponent wasn't me he probably would have finished it in the blink of an eye, but, what a shame.
Before he could even reach me, a huge hole suddenly appeared in his stomach, his internal organs started to come out one by one from the big hole.
I approached him, "Too bad, before you die, would you like to tell me who paid you?" I said while standing before the poor man who was dying.
The man was still slumped on the floor like he was trying to make sense of what had just happened.
Was he that surprised?
Well, whatever.
I already started to feel the presence of knights approaching my room, so I quickly burned the man in front of me to ashes in an instant, and cleaned the blood with water.
After releasing a casual sigh, I heard a knock on my bedroom door.
After that, there was a show of persuasion and a bit of lying to deceive the knights. I just think of stupid excuses that pop up in my head.
After assuring them that I was okay, they just gave in and left.
I closed the door and started repairing my bedroom window, after that I went straight to bed and slept.
The next day, when I got to school there was news that the Midgar Kingdom's second princess Alexia Midgar, the target of many boys, was already dating an ordinary person.
I chuckled when I heard that, because the mediocre person they were referring to was none other than Cid Kageno, the main character who behaves like a side character in this world.
I shook my head and started walking to my class. If I'm not mistaken today, there was a sword subject.
And for your information, I'm in the same class as that mediocre person they were talking about earlier.
When I entered, he and two of his friends were already inside discussing something.
During recess, Lupus, who hasn't appeared since a week ago, suddenly appears in a disguise.
I started walking to the front area of the school and sat down on a bench.

I just ignored them and headed straight to the counter to collect my food.
After I finished eating, I wanted to digest my food so I decided to practice a bit.
Ah right, I haven't told you that I accidentally created a new element while I was experimenting with my Elemental Mastery.
The new element is the space element, I accidentally created it while playing in the forest.
I cultivated it because I was reminded of a skill that would be very useful to me, Item Storage.
I put all my valuables in here so I don't have to bother carrying them around.
I took out my sword from the Item Storage, and started to practice casually.
Until suddenly, I heard a voice not far from me. Out of curiosity, I decided to approach them. Of course, quietly.
I erased my presence and used wind elemental to drown out the sound of my footsteps. I slowly approached them.
Upon arriving, I could see a knight talking to a man in a black robe.
After seeing that, my curiosity disappeared, Turns out it's just minor evil characters planning something.
I turned around and immediately left them to go to class, Break time is about to end.
If I'm not mistaken, the kidnapping incident occurred two weeks from now.
I'll just wait until that happens to make my organization's debut to the outside world.
