Watching from afar carefully, a pair of eyes followed Zale's every move as the owner walked slowly, trying her best to keep up with him. 

She had managed to aim at her target and guess where he was going while hiding out of sight. 

On and on she went until she lost sight of him and he escaped. 

Feeling frustrated, an angry Pearl grumbled inwardly as she stomped her feet repeatedly on the ground. 

Feeling frustrated for her loss, she walked back to the T-junction, the nearest landmark she knew he would undoubtedly pass through on his return to the inn. 

Earlier on, after he had left her alone in the room, an idea struck her when her gaze landed on the open window. 

He had left and locked her inside the room, leaving her with no choice but to do his bidding and sleep as she was told.
