Capítulo 4: Mystic falls

Mystic falls

Niklaus sped past the Entering Mystic falls sigh with a smirk on his face behind him Elijah sat there with Elias still asleep.

Elijah frowned seeing that Elias was showing signs of waking up, he was n't sure how he would convince the boy he was his father.

Elias awoke in an unfamiliar place, though the images soon flooded his mind, seeing his mother die and what followed after. "Mama," he choked out as tears once again started to fill his eyes.

"Elias," Elijah called out catching Elias's attention.

"Who are you," Elias asked raising his head from Elijah's lap and moving closer to the door

"I'm your father and this," Elijah pointed to Klaus in the front seat, "Is your uncle Niklaus."

Elias looked at them both before reaching into his pocket pulling out a picture. Holding it up to Elijah his eyes widened seeing that they were the same person. Elias put the picture back in his pocket. Elias just sat there thinking about his mother. "why weren't you there?" Elias stared at Elijah.

"Mama said you would show up when I needed you most but, but she needed you too and you weren't there." Elias's voice trembled as tears started to feel his eyes.

"Elias an hour ago I didn't even know you existed, I apologize for not arriving in time to save your mother but I promise I'll find whoever did this." Elijah couldn't help but make his son another promise.

"I killed him," Elias screamed towards Elijah, "I killed that man, I was so mad and sad, I couldn't control myself, he hurt mama so I." Elias paused looking at Elijah before looking down at his hands, he could still see the blood.

"Elias this isn't your fault." Elijah began only to be cut off by Niklaus.

"Dear nephew you killed that man, and you shouldn't regret it. He did the unspeakable, he killed your mother in front of you no less, You're a Michaelson we don't take kindly to people harming our family." Niklaus spoke from the front seat with a frown on his face.

"Come, son." Elijah pulled Elias into his embrace comforting him as he looked at Klaus with a frown on his face, he couldn't' help but scoff as he saw Niklaus smirk in the mirror. The ride went smoothly with Klaus speeding they soon reached their destination.

Klaus stopped the car turning to Elijah "You sure about this." seeing him nod Klaus sighed "Well I'll stay here the hag doesn't like me much."

"You threatened to destroy her entire family if she didn't help you."

"Did I do it?" Klaus asked with a smirk on his face.

Elijah shook his head opening the door he walked around to the other side opening the door for Elias. Grabbing his hand they both walked towards the door, ringing the doorbell they waited. Soon an older aged African American woman opened the door with a smile on her face before she frowned seeing Elijah.

"Are you gonna let us in," Elijah asked with a serious face. Hearing him say us Sheila turned her attention to Elias. Opening the door she waited for both of them to enter before looking around to make sure no one saw them.

Sheila walked in behind them leading them to the living room a little girl, a couple of years older than Elias sat on the floor watching T.V.

"Elias why don't you watch T.V." Elijah motioned for the boy to join the girl. He turned his attention back to Sheila following her as she led him into the kitchen.

"Who is he?" Sheila asked as she looked towards the living room, seeing bonnie talking to the boy.

"He's my son, my biological son." Elijah looked down at his hands as he interconnected them before looking back up at Sheila with a small smile on his face.

"That's impossible all of the world knows vampires can't procreate." Sheila frowned looking at the smiling Elijah who reached inside his jacket pocket pulling out a lock of curly hair before reaching up pulling out a lock of his own hair.

"Perform your test, once you're done we can talk about why I'm here." Sheila nodded as she grabbed the hair from Elijah before turning to walk into the back room closing the door behind her.

grabbing spices and mixing ingredients Sheila dropped Elijah and Elias's hair into the mixing bowl speaking a spell as she looked down into the bowl. " Ultrum haec duo consanguineos, Ultrum haec duo consanguineos, Ultrum duo, Ultrum, consanguineos, Ultrum haec duo consanguineos." Sheila raised her hands as the two locks of hair flew up from the bowl floating in the air rotating both locks of hair shot towards each other. The results were the two locks of hair one straight the other curly, locked together becoming an X proving that Elias was, after all, Elijah's biological son.

Raising her hands the hair floated into her hands, inspecting the two pieces of hair that had now formed one Sheila was shocked. Opening the door she could see Elijah watching Elias with a worried expression on her face. She knew even without her test Elijah had already fully believed that Elias was his.

Elijah turned his attention to Sheila as he heard the door open seeing her expression he could already guess the results of her little test. He himself only needed to hear his son's heartbeat to know he was his son.

"Now that you believe me I have a request," Elijah said as Sheila took her seat next to him.

"You want him to stay here?" Sheila guessed looking at Elijah.

"Yes he needs to be protected, but with me, I fear he'll turn out just like me or worse Niklaus. After what he's been through, he needs love and I know you'll give him that."

"Tell me everything," Sheila said as she looked at the boy.

Elijah quickly recounted the events of earlier today not leaving out any details. He needed Sheila to provide Elias with something he couldn't, warmth.
