By the junction at the main road, opposite the boardwalk from the city park, stands an Ash tree.
It is not especially big, or especially old. At first glance there is no reason to think of the tree as anything significant.
However, there are rumours about this tree. If one was to stand in front of the tree and wish with all their might for success, you are almost guaranteed it. It is believed that the tree has magical powers, and many people will vouch for them; this makes the tree extremely popular, especially around young people striving for their dreams.
Of course, the rumours are baseless, there is no truth behind it whatsoever.
However, this single Ash tree is special, it is magical, for two reasons.
One, it can read your mind, and in extreme cases even influence your actions.
Two, this tree used to be human.
