Capítulo 22: Chapter 21 : Escapee
"You two really think you stand a chance against me?" said Tomio confidently, crossing his arms and standing across them with a smirk.
"Tomio... Why are you doing this?" asked Kazumi
"Young lord, I am doing this for you, for the clan and under Ishoki's request." he immediately responded.
"Father put him up to this?!" despite that revelation now being clear to him, he still stood his ground, with the intent of stopping him.
The one in front of Aza and Kazumi shook his head saying : "I told him that I'll remove you if you're against it. So prepare yourself, young lord." Upon finishing the sentence he vanished from his position.
Trying to use his eyes to see his movements, he appeared in front of Kazumi and punched him in the face, sending him flying through multiple buildings as he attempted to put his arms up to guard.
"Dammit..." Aza said, firing a water beam out of her palm at him. Tomio dodged and rushed at her as well.
From the side, passing in front of him, stopping him in his tracks, was black lightning.
Another alias for Kazumi inside of the clan is the Black Demon Heir.
Using this opportunity, Aza punched the air with her palms, sending multiple wind blasts at him.
He dodged it by quickly moving right, immediately sending out a fireball as a counterattack at Aza.
She ran at Tomio, ducking the fireball and beginning to throw hands with him. In a few seconds, she was overwhelmed as he side kicked her in the stomach, sending her sliding backwards.
A humongous water wave began to be formed, going quickly at Tomio, having him jump up and twist his body but the sting of the slash on his back stung greatly, having him be unable to counter.
Kazumi jumped up at him, trying to kick him. He blocked it, grabbed his leg and threw him down into the ground, cracking it.
What seemed out of nowhere, a wave of extremely hot flames, Hellflames, was fired at him, being unable to dodge it mid-air and ultimately resorting to the tricks of the eyes, specifically...

Being tall about 19meters tall and quite wide, having the color of a plain red one, Tomio grinned and tanked every attack that Aza fired at him.
She thought about the weaknesses of it, if it did have any. Only one she could see, which is a mere disadvantage, is the fact that it's slower than Tomio when trying to strike.
Tomio rushed at her, punching her through multiple buildings with the samurai spirit and going back at her again, this time dispersing it and gazing into her eyes and attempting to place her under an illusion.
Yet despite her possession of the pure eyes, she wasn't influenced and instead punched him in the face and summoned earth pillars from below him to damage him, being unable to due to him evading every one of them.
He got up in front of her and his punches were quite heavy, but tolerable not ideal.
Aza was hit by a bunch of them, barely blocking some others and not possessing an opening to counter, with him punching her with an uppercut, lifting her off the ground and punching her in the stomach through more buildings.
Blood dripped from her cut forehead and face alongside having a beat up and in pain body.
"Shit..." she thought to herself.
Rushing at her once more, Tomio threw a punch at her face which she moved her head in time for, dodging it and point blank firing a water beam at his stomach.
Evading it quickly, he moved out of the way but not without any sustained damage. His oblique was hit and pierced through. "Hahahahaha" he laughed in response to it, despite feeling a slight sharp pain there.
Out of nowhere he began to shake. It was unclear as to why to Aza, but behind him, she was able to spot Kazumi whose lightning connected.
Tomio tried to move quickly, a ball of hellflame was fired at him, hitting him in the shoulder, with Nova jumping out of a closed window into a roll and rushing at him, all of the 3 did.
Having nowhere to currently go, suddenly he began moving and running with no issue and a a circular blurry and whirling thing appearing in front of him and him vanishing with it going to close up.
Before it entirely could, without the others seeing, the circular thing held up a second or two due to Aza wanting to stop him and using her hand in a way like she's reaching out for something yet in the end it still closed.
"What the-" said Kazumi, going up there to Aza and Nova.
"He escaped." quickly replied Nova, stating the obvious. "But how is the question.." he added on.
They walked around, checked some of the buildings and saw the people, the residents were still there, standing lifelessly but breathing nonetheless.
Despite him getting away, they were still deeply caught in his illusion or so that's what they thought.

Aza, Zankoku and Nova searched for the others only to see sensei Zenkai, Yui and Nao wounded and battling another demon eye wielder that ran through the same thing they did.
It must be a portal, an unusual one. The more they looked at the possibility, the more it became a reality.
Karoi, Zankoku and an unknown woman in their eyes walked up as the commotion and destruction in the village went quiet, signifying that Twist's squad and all the others have removed the demon eye possessors.
"Sensei, he escaped." said Nova, with Aza and Kazumi walking up to them.
"Cedarfall is still standing regardless of the residents being under the influence, good job not dying." quickly said Karoi, still not seeing Masato anywhere. "Where is Masato?" he asked Nova who shrugged.
"Hm. There is something going on here, something with the demon eye clan that's on a much larger scale than anticipated" the sensei added, saying as he opened the door to the house to see a 'lifeless' resident who still stood on his feet.
"Tomio said that he's doing this all for the clan under my father's request.. I refuse to believe that my father would do this..." Kazumi said, with Kuga placing his hand on his shoulder.
Budging into the conversation, Zankoku interfered and added onto Kazumi's words : "Nobu said a while ago that the clan leader is responsible for this and that their end goal is to conquer the nations and later the realms."
Elara and Karoi side eyed each other, now realizing that in fact the residents of Midgard are becoming a pest.
"It seems that the demon eye clan is becoming greedy in power and numbers, ultimately building an army from what I've seen." said Karoi, looking at the houses surrounding them.
"So what's our next course of action?" butted in Kuga
"It'd be wise to dissillusionise the residents of Cedarfall first, then go after Ishoki so that's what we will do." said Karoi with all of them agreeing but...
Sensei Twist and his team left back to Ember as they do not particularly care about anything other than self power and money, whilst Zenkai was sent off by Karoi himself with his students to be healed in Ember, telling him that they'll search for Masato.
Now, it's only the 6 of them remaining in Cedarfall, going to find out more.
