Capítulo 19: Chronoa And The Time Patrol!
[3rd Person Pov]
Located at the very edge of Universe 7 stood the Time Vault. A temple-like location that is filled with the history of the entire Multiverse.
Chronoa, the Supreme Kaioshin Of Time, and the guardian of the Time Nest that houses the Divine Bird Tokitoki who is also the Ruler of Time itself.
Chronoa, more commonly known by her title Supreme Kai of Time, is a short and petite Supreme Kai of a youthful and pretty appearance with pinkish-red hair and pink/purple skin. Like most Supreme Kais, she wears a pair of Potara earrings and robes similar to those worn by the Supreme Kais on the Sacred World of the Kai, though it has a more casual design that is distinctly feminine. Her outfit known as Supreme Kai of Time's Clothes also sports a pair of high-heeled boots, which may be to compensate for her short stature.
And as she fed her pet Tokitoki she spoke.
"Tokitoki. There has been a new timeline that absolutely follows nothing of the original universe 7 timeline. Not only was a Saiyan born with God Ki, he even ended up growing up to become the new God Of Destruction of Universe 7.
His Mother was a powerful Saiyan who nearly killed Frieza, and though she was killed, her actions have saved a vast majority of the Saiyans who now linger all throughout the Universe in his timeline.
I'm not sure how or why, but someone sent him to a completely different timeline. The "original" future timeline. He's completely changed the story from it's original intended course, not only saving Bulma, but killing off Goku Black and Sealing away Zamasu.
He's interacted with the "original" Universe 7's timeline Goku and Vegeta, and has even fought against the Grand Minister himself due to him losing control of his emotions. And now he's taken temporary ownership of the future timeline's Universe 7. The only good thing to come out of all this is the fact that he still adheres to the Divine Law. What do you think of the situation Toki-Toki?"
Chronoa questioned in exhaustion. The Divine bird stroked the Kai's head with his wings as he cawed.
"Toki-Toki!"
Chronoa hummed as she replied to Toki-Toki's words.
"You recommend we meet up with this Destroyer and try to deal with the situation Diplomatically?"
Toki-Toki nodded his head as Chronoa pondered deeply about the divine birds suggestion before replying.
"I understand. But as the Supreme Kai of time, I cannot leave the Time Nest. So, I think I'll have to send Goku, Vegeta and Trunks on this mission together."
Toki-Toki flapped it's wings it's body language telling her that it's a pretty big risk for her to send all three together as it could be seen as having hostile intentions against the Destroyer.
Chronoa nodded her head in understanding as she explained her decision.
"I understand your view on my decision, but please understand Toki-Toki. With this Destroyer being superior to his angelic attendant in terms of combat ability, on the off chance things turn hostile, I worry that just one being there on my behalf won't be enough to handle him if he does choose to use violence instead of reasoning."
Toki-Toki sighed but nodded his head respecting Chronoa's decision. Chronoa gave the bird a thankful smile as she spoke.
"Thank you for your understanding Toki-Toki."
Chronoa closed her eyes using her telepathy to connect to the minds of the time patrol members Xeno Goku, Vegeta and Trunks.
"Goku-San, Vegeta-San, Trunks-Kun. I request all three of your presence back at the Time Nest. I have a new mission that requires all three of you to be present."
Chronoa's telepathic words carried the seriousness of this new mission she was assigning them.
[Alternate Timeline Age: 762 Planet Namek]
Standing atop one of the mountains on Planet Namek, was a young man that looked exactly like Son Goku except that he was sporting a red and black gi, with a black undershirt and accents that give him a more battle-hardened look. A Time Patroller badge was also present on his clothing.
The planet he was on wasn't fairing well in anyway with the earth glowing and erupting with magma, thunder raining all across the planet, the oceans were chaotic in their movements ripples all over and small waves being produced and two glowing lights that were consistently striking each other in the sky. One was a dark purple and the other was a brilliant gold.
The Time Patroller Son Goku's eyes watched silently with a frown wondering where the problem with this timeline exactly was. Everything seemed to follow the proper course of history. However, his frown turned to surprise at Chronoa's telepathic message as he muttered.
"Just what could have possibly happened that would require all three of us to be present?"
His interest was piqued, before his eyes focused back on the fight as he noticed something strange.
"A Dark Star Dragon Ball!?"
He saw how the dark Dragon Ball attached itself to Frieza immediately boosting his power exponentially dwarfing Super Saiyan Goku. Immeadiately with the boost in power, Frieza began beating Super Saiyan Goku with ease overwhelming him not just in physical ability, but his Ki blasts were even more powerful as well.
"I guess this is where I step in."
Xeno Goku turned serious as he vanished from his spot atop the mountain standing between Super Saiyan Goku and Frieza. He effortlessly captured Frieza's fist before grabbing the One Star Dark Dragon Ball and ripping it out of Frieza's chest causing a sharp decline of his prowess before raising his palm and with a single Ki Blast, vaporised Frieza into dust before disappearing and returning to the Time Nest leaving a dumbfounded and exhausted Super Saiyan Goku.
[Alternate Timeline Age: 762 Earth.]
Hidden behind a large boulder was Xeno Vegeta with his arms crossed and eyes closed as he waited for the anomaly that was the reason he was sent to this timeline to correct in the first place. Xeno Vegeta wears a black jumpsuit underneath white and brown battle armor with a tube-like neck strap, along with white gloves with large black sections on the cuffs and white boots with similar black sections on the uppers and a brown toe cap.
"Hmph. Just why was I sent to this specific point in time I wonder? Was the Kai trying to make fun of me by having me deal with this moment in time?"
Vegeta just sighed irritated before his eyes opened and widened in surprise at hearing Chronoa's words and the seriousness in her words.
'Tsk. Something that requires all three of us to be present for? What exactly happened?'
Vegeta's thoughts were broken by a massive energy blast that struck the ground ahead of him causing debris to shoot at him that he just waved off in irritation.
"That idiotic buffoon, what a waste of energy firing ki blasts in such an uncontrolled manner in his Oozaru form. So what exactly is wrong with this timeline exactly?"
Vegeta muttered in confusion until an extremely fat swordsman shot into the ground in front of Xeno Vegeta unconcious and with fairly bad wounds.
"Hrrm? It's this fatso? Ah."
An enlightened expression appeared on Vegeta's face as he spoke.
"So that's what caused the change in history. Without the fatty cutting off my tail, Kakarot would die."
Vegeta sighed in annoyance as he grabbed Yajirobe's sword from his unconscious form giving it a few light swings before turning to the Oozaru form of his alternate self as he clicked his tongue.
"*Tsk* I can't believe I'm being made to cut off my own tail. This is all your fault fatty."
Vegeta steps outside of the boulders shade and with a single throw, the blade cleanly sliced through the Great Ape's tail causing the Alternate Vegeta to gasp as he was forcefully transformed out of his Great Ape form.
Xeno Vegeta watched for a little bit longer to make sure everything continues as it should have before he disappeared returning to the time nest.
[Alternate Timeline Age: 774 Sacred World Of The Kaioshins]
Standing on a faraway mountain on the Sacred World Of The Kai's was a young man with Lavender coloured hair wearing a World War esque black trench coat with a fur-lined collar and an olive-green sweater underneath, olive green pants with lighter-colored bandages around his shins and brown colored laced boots and brown gloves with a sword carried on his back. It was the Time Patroller Xeno Trunks. He was watching with a solemn gaze as Goku was charging up a spirit bomb as his Alternate Timeline father fought against the Embodiment of Evil Majin Buu. Or better known as the Evil part of Majin Buu. Kid Buu.
Trunks watched as Goku finally charged up enough energy as he saw Goku hesitate when Vegeta was unable to move away. He watched as another Buu attacked Kid Buu allowing Mr Satan to take Vegeta away as Goku threw the Spirit Bomb at Kid Buu. But due to not having enough energy, Kid Buu began pushing the Spirit Bomb back with great difficulty.
Trunks watched the interaction between Vegeta and Mr Satan as the human man trembled at Vegeta saying something to him. He watched as Vegeta glared into the sky and yelled something only to click his tongue before speaking something else into the sky once more.
He bore witness as to when Goku lost all his energy and Kid Buu immediately pushing back as Goku's own attack that almost consumed him only for him to gain back all his lost energy at the last second allowing him to push back against the Spirit Bomb to hit Kid Buu.
Trunks saw as the Spirit Bomb was about to consume Kid Buu, and as Goku gave his final speech to it that a Seven Star Dark Dragon Ball lodged itself into Kid Buu's forehead as a Dark Energy surrounded Kid Buu and once more the tide of the battle changed in an overwhelming way. Kid Buu with a powerful scream, easily pushed back against the Spirit Bomb shocking everyone deeply at then, Trunks grabbed the hilt of his sword and made his move.
The ground quaked as golden energy erupted from his body. 'VMMMMMM... CRACK-BZZZT!' Lightning danced around him, and his roar echoed through the battlefield. 'HAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!'
The massive and overwhelming surge of energy caught everyone's attention for only a second as Trunks transformed into a Super Saiyan 3 and instantly, he covered the distance from where he stood to directly behind Kid Buu.
(*Woosh*) (*Shing*)…. (*Click*)
Trunks had sheathed his sword with a click as in his hand was a Seven Star Dark Dragon Ball. The sudden loss of the overwhelming power from the Dark Dragon Ball was enough to stun Kid Buu and cause him to lose control over the fight of pushing the Spirit Bomb long enough to allow the Spirit Bomb to consume him. And just for safety, Trunks shared his own energy into the Spirit Bomb causing it to grow astronomically larger as he returned to his base form and used the blinding light of the Spirit Bomb to disappear from the Planet Of The Kaioshin returning to the Time Nest at Chronoa's request.
-(Scene Break)-
(3rd Person Pov)
Back within the Time Nest, the three Time Patrollers stood before a increadibly serious looking Chronoa. Even the lighthearted Goku kept silent seeing the nervousness and Seriousness inside of Chronoa's eyes as she spoke.
"Listen all three of you. I have what I might consider the most important mission I've assigned to you all so far."
She looked between the three Saiyans as she continued while pacing around.
"Recently I came to know of a really different timeline that came to exist that follows absolutely nothing as the original timeline. A saiyan was born with God Ki, his mother Ichigo fought Frieza allowing for the escape of other Saiyans and her son ended up training under the Destroyer Beerus. And to make things short.
This Saiyan was sent over to the main timelines future timeline by somd unknown entity where he has ended up taking over as Temporary God Of Destruction and reviving all the previously dead Z fighters.
And with so much change to the original timeline's history, I want you three to go meet him on my behalf for a diplomatic solution to this issue. Since he hasn't broken any of the Divine Laws or the Grand Minister seems to highly favour him, I don't want to start any conflict with him. So I want to tell him that I plan to isolate the timeline he's in to prevent it from having any potential large consequences towards other timelines."
As Chronoa finished speaking, Xeno Trunks questioned confused.
"Forgive me Chronoa-Sama. But I don't understand why you would need all three of us to meet with this destroyer? If it's just for a diplomatic meeting, surely just one of us alone should be enough."
Chronoa sighed heavily as she replied.
"The biggest thing I worry about is if negotiations fail and he gets aggressive. Although, from what I've seen of him it's highly unlikely, just in case a fight does break out, all three of you will be needed because I'm not sure if just one of you alone could ever hope to touch him."
Goku looked curious as he questioned.
"Why do you say that Chronoa-Sama?"
Vegeta was also curious as he awaited her answer. Chronoa looked terrified as she responded.
"That Destroyer. Jin Mori. He had surpassed his angel mentor in terms of physical ability. And you all must understand that hierarchically, Angels were always overwhelmingly superior to their respective Gods of destruction so in case they lost control of themselves, their attendance/mentors would be more than capable of handling them if the need arises. But for the first time since this hierarchy was created, a Destroyer has surpassed his mentor."
Chronoa's words shocked all three Time Patrolers, but her words also brought some excitement and anticipation in the eyes of both Goku and Vegeta causing Trunks to sweatdrop and Chronoa too look frustrated at their expressions as she spoke.
"Look. Just don't cause any trouble when you arrive on his planet. After the meeting is over, you can feel free to have a friendly spar, but be respectful when asking for it understood?!"
Goku just laughed as he nodded.
"You got it Chronoa-Sama!"
Vegeta nodded as he questioned.
"When do we leave?"
Chronoa sighed as she spoke.
"In a bit. I must first inform Whis about you three arriving on the realm of the current God Of Destruction so that we don't look hostile."
Trunks and Vegeta nodded in understanding as Chronoa walked away to go inform Whis of the arrival of the time patrol.
-(Scene Break)-
(Beerus Planet: 3rd Person Pov)
Standing at the edge of the planet was Whis, Jin Mori and Android 18 who stood in front of a unique training tool. It was an arm weight that looked like it was attached to a block of concrete as Android 18 looked at Whis curiously and full of confusion.
"What is this?"
Whis calmly replied.
"Mori-Sama has asked me to train you so that you will have some use to him as temporary Supreme Kai. And so, I will have you trained to the best of my abilities. This will be your first exercise of the day. Lift the weight before you and complete one full round around the planet. No using your Ki to aid you in lifting the weights. Just pure physical strength."
Android 18 looked between Whis and Mori for a few seconds before sighing as she placed both her arms into the slots at the top of the concrete like block as she got into a deadlifting position and with a deep breath she tried lifting it. She grunted as she spoke in disbelief.
"Heavy!"
But even so, she barely managed to lift it off the ground barely by a few inches.
Whis nodded as he spoke.
"Now, begin your round."
Android 18 gritted her teeth as she spoke.
"It's too hard to even move!"
Whis nodded as he spoke.
"I understand, but you better get moving, since the platform your standing on will start to disappear and you will fall into the bottom of the planet."
At Whis's words, the platform behind Android 18 began to disappear as panic spread across her face and with extreme difficulty, she took her first step. And before she could even take her second step, the platform beneath her disappeared.
"Eh?"
Was all Android 18 could mutter as she began free falling into the void below.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Android 18's voice grew farther away as Mori looked at Whis who nodded his head as his staff glowed and Android 18 was teleported back onto the now fixed platform as she huffed Mori spoke.
"Lower her weight slightly until she can move just barely fast enough to avoid falling to her doom. I'm off to do my own training."
Mori flew away as Whis bowed respectfully.
"As you wish my lord."
As Mori flew away from Whis and Android 18, Whis lightened the weight around 18's arms as she grunted this time managing to hold the weight a lot higher then before as Whis spoke.
"Now then, you may continue with your training."
Android 18 huffed but still began walking with great difficulty but still being fast enough to barely avoid falling to her doom once more. And as she continues to walk her lap around the planet, Whis blinked in surprise at his staff glowing indicating he is receiving a request for communication. Upon accepting the request, his staff floated into the air where a holographic video of Chronoa the supreme Kaioshin of Time could be seen.
"Chronoa-Sama?"
Whis looked surprised, but bowed his head respectfully to the Kaioshin and Chronoa returned the bow respectfully and curtly as she spoke.
"Angel attendant to the current anomalous God Of Destruction Jin Mori Whis. I would like to request a meeting with the Destroyer you currently serve."
Whis blinked in surprise as he hummed.
"I see. For the Supreme Kai of Time herself to request such a meeting, I can only dare imagine the seriousness of Mori-Sama's existence in this timeline. Very well Chronoa-Sama. I shall pass on your message to Lord Mori."
Chronoa looked thankful as she spoke.
"Do inform him that I plan to send my Time Patrollers as my representatives since I cannot leave the Time Nest."
Whis just nodded his head.
"Understood Chronoa-Sama. Have a good day."
And like that, the call between Whis and Chronoa ended as he floated away heading towards Jin Mori knowingn that Android 18 will still take a long while until she finishes her round around the planet.
(An: Sup. I finally broke through my writers block. And I know the scenes I wrote for the Time Patrollers aren't cannon? But eh. Total is 3k words. And thank you for your patience. Btw.
