"Lyre!" Jewel and Clar held on to him.

Lyre's mouth got filled with blood. His eyes immediately turned black, and it seemed like his body was slowly getting cold.

"It's fruitless." Veryn folded his arms. "He's not going to survive," he smirked.

"What did you do to him?" Jewel growled at him.

"Why? I'm only taking my revenge." Veryn laughed, "this is just the beginning." He took a step towards them. "I will cut down all those that try to stop me."

"Why? I thought you are his brother. Why will you be this heartless!" Clark gritted her teeth.

"Brother?" Veryn laughed. "He's not—" A scream tore from his throat. He placed both hands on his head as he continued to yell.

His eyes turned blood red, and his teeth elongated.

Clar and Jewel watched him, as they tried to understand what was happening.

"Call Rain!" Veryn gasped. "You have to save Lyre. He's too strong!" Veryn cried out as a howl tore from his throat. "Be fast!" He cried out.
