I really like the pacing of the story, not too fast and not too slow. First person P.O.V. is really great. Love the characters' names also. El and Ci's friendship was fun.
i wanted to give it five stars because of how much i've loved and enjoyed the story, but i'm waiting for update so i have my fingers crosed. either way, i enjoyed this book so much. the dialogue matches the character's persona, which hardly ever happens with new books. The world biulding i catered for, and slowly by slowly, the synopsis plays into the story perfectly. i really love this book. please give us more updates and good job author.
When I read the synopsis, I was immediately drawn to the theme of the story. The pacing of the story flows quite smoothly. The narration from Eleanor's POV is well portrayed. However, there are some chapters that feel a bit off when combining the two main characters' POVs together. In my opinion, it would be better if each character's POV was presented in separate chapters to avoid disrupting the flow of the story. But overall, this book is worth following!
What really caught my eye first was the title, then the synopsis and the first few chapters. From disappointment to slowly getting herself together I have to admit I like where this is going already. Keep it up! I will be waiting for more.
First of all, reading the synopsis rose the zeal in me to read the main story. I really enjoyed my read, the story has so much potentials. Plus I love the theme😄
I'm really enjoying this story so far, I just wish there were more chapters and that I had more fast passes.

All I wanted in the story are all here. Mafia, arranged marriage, forbidden romance. Did you made this story for me, Emmanuel? Lol! I will definitely read this one!
Started out not really liking FL. But the story progress and she developed for the better. Can't wait for the revenge part.
I just came here to review book to get FP, but then I started to reading it and I was hooked
Nice read with unique plotline and narrations. The setting and characters are also mich more admirable. Kudos , the book has much potentials so I hope you'll keep updating
