Capítulo 5: Ava- her future boyfriend
Vincent’s POV
“Don’t you think it’s a waste of time learning all these fucking subjects when we clearly know that we go for something else.” Brad said.
“But it’s compulsory to graduate high school.” Celeb replied.
“What you wanna do brother? after high school?” Axel asked him.
“I want to go for boxing and I applied for the competitions if that thing went good. they may personally take me and train me.” Brad said.
“What about you Axel?” Brad asked him.
“I’m going for higher studies man, you know my dad wants me to take care of his business.” he said.
That’s true we all know from the beginning about Axel and Celeb. They both need to go for higher education then graduate then take over their family business. Celeb was willing to take over but I wasn’t sure about Axel because that kid didn’t want to go for business.
I want to open my own music studio and record my own music. That was my main goal. I always dreamed of becoming a singer and music composer.
I want to write my own songs and compose my own music, I can play six instruments. I learned traditional music. I even took Indian traditional music classes. I heard Indian music audio which I liked.
So with the help of mumma, I enrolled in Indian singing classes here in North Caroline. The training fees were expensive. I worked as a barista to pay for my music classes. But they all paid off because I enjoyed learning the music.
I returned home after school, Adria told me that she has an extra dance class. I did my bath. I took my violin and music book before playing the instrument.
“Vincent.” Ava walked into my room.
“Yup?”
“Wanna dance?”
“Sure.” I put my instrument away and followed her to the living room. Ava and I like to dance together from childhood. We just dance on our favourite songs or on her favourite songs.
“I was thinking to start a youtube channel.” Ava says.
“Youtube channel?”
“Yeah, dance videos or vlogs with good content.”
“Good.” I tell her dancing to the tune.
“You need to be there for the dancing videos.” She says.
“You have to pay then. I won’t be dancing for free.”
“Lol.”
“Fine, help me with the channel name and set up.”
"By the way, how is your dance classes going on?" I ask her.
"Good but the students aren't friendly." She says with a frown on her face.
"Are they giving you trouble?"
"They are just harsh sometimes, being the junior they kind of rule. Sometimes they cross the line and treat the new joiners badly." She says.
"You have your class tomorrow?" I ask her.
"Yup, in the evening at five." She says after checking her timetable.
"I will make a visit and talk with those girls." I said as she smiles.
"You mean to say scare them?" She says with a teasing look.
"Whatever you think it is." She nods her head putting her phone away.
"By the way, I need help." She groans before looking at me.
"I already wrote your two assignments keeping my assignments away."
"Please...Please... If you write this assignment I will take you to the new Tacobell." She thought about it.
"But dad said he will take us there tomorrow."
"Don't wanna go there for the second time?" I ask her. I know she will do anything for tacos.
"Okay! give me the textbooks and assignment papers."
"Sure, take the French textbook and notes from my room. You know where those white sheets are." I tell her.
"Wait a minute, didn't you finish your French assignment? I saw your assignment." She said, confusedly.
"Yup, it's not mine. Brad is writing my chemistry assignment and I will be writing his French assignment." She nods her head, turning her gaze towards the laptop.
After a while I went to the kitchen to see my mom making some fruit juice, I went to her to talk. I always liked to talk to my mom.
“Hey, mom!” I said kissing her cheek.
“Hey, do you need anything honey?” she asked me.
“No mom.” I replied taking a glass of her grape juice.
“Ava is planning to start a youtube channel.” Mum said.
“Yeah, she told me. It's good an idea, I think she should do whatever she likes to do.”
"Hmm, even dad said the same thing. We are thinking to get her a camera on her birthday." Mum says looking at the door to see if Ava is coming.
"Surprise?" I ask. She nods her head going to the other counter to get a pan.
"I will get her fairy lights and camera stand then." I say.
“Vincent can you give ninja a bath in the morning, Ava says he smells.” Mom said.
“Sure.” I said. Ninja is my dog. Ava got gifted me, Ninja, on birthday last year. She knew I was going to buy a dog, actually, Adria planned to gift me a puppy but Ava gifted me. Nothing less I was so happy when she gave me Ninja.
“Where is he?" I wash my used glass and put it on the counter to dry.
“Outside in the garden.”
“Okay, I will go and get him.” I said. I walked outside to see my golden retriever playing with his toy.
“Come on, big boy its time to bath.” I said. when he heard my voice he came running to me. He jumped high making me cringe by his nails.
“Slow down buddy.” I said scratching his fur. He licked my cheek making me laugh. Someone whistled when I turned to Adria’s home. I saw her looking at us from her room. She did an action saying she is coming to my room. I nodded my head.
I took ninja to my room, I saw Adria climbing the tree. Soon she was in my room. She is in her PJ shorts and a white tee.
Ninja rushed over her making her fall down on her back because of the sudden impact. I chuckled before sitting on the rug.
She gave him a hug before giving a kiss. Ninja loved her. Adria spent more of her time with him.
“When your parents gonna come back?” I asked her.
“They will return on Monday as it is weekend.” she said. I nodded my head because today is Friday and weekend is here.
“What we gonna do tonight?” she asked me.
“You know we can...” I said but my sentence cut short when she threw a book at me. I chuckled.
“He really needs a bath.”
“Yeah, it’s late we will give him a bath in the morning.”
“Did you bring your phone?” I asked her because in the morning her mom may call her.
“Yup.” she said. I went to where she sat and plopped down behind her. She smelt lavender. I sat behind her and put my hands inside her shirt feeling her warm skin against my cold palm, she quivered slightly.
“Are you attending the prom night?” I asked her.
“Yeah, can’t miss it when you gonna see your man in a tuxedo.” she said looking up at me.
“I want to be your date love, I don’t want to be with others nor I want to see any girl as your date.” she said.
“Will do something about that love.” I said kissing her cheek.
“I’m gonna miss you.” she said making me frown.
“I’m not going anywhere then why would you miss me?” I asked her.
“I don’t know I got this sudden peculiar vibes.” she said looking lost. I made her turn around so that now she is straddled in my lap. I cupped her face and looked in her eyes.
“Love, I’m never gonna leave you, I would never stay away from you. You are the world to me and staying away from you only makes me break. Till my last breath, I will be with you.” I said.
She signed her head before hugging me. Sometimes she becomes fragile which makes my heart hurt. I don’t like it when she thinks negative about us. Her having negative thoughts means something really gonna happen. It’s not good for us both.
“So tell me love what you wanna do in future?“I asked her.
“Hmm.” she thought for a moment.
“I want to graduate high school with good grades then go for my masters in business, later I want to open a retro-club with you by my side, then travel places as much as we can, meet new people and their culture.” she said.
“If you wanna travel then who gonna look after your restaurant?” I asked her.
“We will keep a manager silly.” she said making me laugh.
“Okay.” I said kissing her hair. She is adorable
“You don’t need a degree to open your own business.” I said.
“I just want to explore college life and stay away from my family. You know my dad how he is; he wouldn’t allow me to open my own dream restaurant. He wants me to go for higher studies.”
“I will be by your side.” I promised her.
“Babe, can I ask you a question?” she asked me.
“Sure.”
“Will you ever accept the guy Ava love?” she asked me.
“Mostly no but it depends on whom she is loving.” I said.
“What if it is one of your friends?” she asked with curious eyes.
“Don’t tell me that she is in love with one of my friends.” I said. She glared at me by hitting my chest.
“No, I’m just asking you.”
“I don’t know, it will be different but I’m sure they gonna treat her better.” I said. She smiled before saying they will. I will be happy if Ava ends up with one of my boys. I know them from childhood, I know they will take care of her no matter what. To be honest I will be more than happy if she ends up with Brad. He is the best, he knew the importance of a family.
He will take care of Ava no matter what. He already lived with us, my parents love him and I know what kind of shit he went through. He would never run someone or break someone’s heart because he knows the pain of a broken heart. He needs all the happiness in this world if you ask me.
“Whom do you think would end up with Ava if there are chances?” I questioned her.
“Celeb, I don’t think he is interested in Ava as he calls her sister. Axel and Brad maybe.”
“Hmm...”
"Whom do you think she will end up with?" I ask her.
"I don't know, Axel and Celeb are the only ones who talk to her. I never saw Brad and Ava talking or even looking at each other, they aren't close like she is close with Celeb and Axel. I think there is a chance of Axel and Ava."
"Brad is very shy when it comes to public talking. He may seem like a serious person but in truth he doesn't know how to talk. If I remember properly he only spoke with Ava like ten times that too about me. He only spoke when he wanted to know where I'm."
Adria laughed "Yeah, I never saw him getting close or even speak with someone else other than us."
"True, he is a true gem and very innocent."
"Hmm, now I'm eager to know with whom Brad ends up with."
"We surely going to meet her before he ends up with her forever." I say.
"Hmm."
