Ning Man and his team were setting up camp for the night. Ning Man was wondering how the war had started between the two empires as he sat down on the edge of the camp. He sat there peacefully, hoping that they would safely get to General Han Lu Shi and tell him the true plans of their enemy. As he sat lost in his thoughts, he heard terrible yells behind him. This shocked him and he immediately stood up, sword in hand. He ran to the camp and stopped when it came into his sight. "No, no, no.," he said "NO!!!!!! THIS CAN'T BE TRUE!!!!!!!!" he yelled. Laying directly in front of him was the blood of all his beloved comrades that had worked hard with him to find the information they had needed to defeat the Southern Empire in the war. He dropped to his knees, all the energy in him spent. A group of green-robed warriors surrounded him.
"Well, look here, there's still one of them still alive. What should we do with him?" the leader asks.
"I think we should kill him." One man states.
"No, let's torture him first," Another says.
The discussion of what to do with him went on, but Ning Man just sat there, empty, like a broken doll, a shell of what he used to be.
"Boss, he looks so dead on the inside, why don't we be merciful and kill him painlessly so he can join his friends in hell?"
"HAHAHA, you're right, now the Emperor can't say we're cruel. You get a promotion, son, for your ingenious thinking!!!!"
"Yes, sir!"
The leader of the group looked at the sad man kneeling on the ground. He sighed.
"You know, kid, it was your own Emperor who ordered us to do this. He's afraid of General Han's power. General Han might be a very young man, in his teenage years, but he is still a peerless genius and the Emperor.

General Han sat on his desk, looking at the map below him. Their Northern Empire already took most of the land already, but the power-hungry Emperor had wanted more, he wanted to rule the entire mainland. So, he sent Han Lu Shi to take land from their enemies, the Southern Empire. At least, that's what everyone else in the capital thinks. Only Han Lu Shi and the Emperor knew the truth. The Emperor was scared of his power and sent Han Lu Shi and his men into a trap. Han Lu Shi, although knowing full well that it was a trap, had gone. General Han sighed after remembering the recent death of his most beloved person, the previous Emperor. Han Lu Shi had an undying loyalty to the previous Emperor, who made him promise to listen to every order of his foolish heir, no matter how stupid the decree was. He sighed again, remembering his promise.
