A/N: Info dump.
1156 AD: Avalon: 192 Years(17)
"There are three kinds of energy any being can access, with enough training. Dimensional, Universal, and Personal." I say, looking at an attentive Aora.
It has been a few days since I've been back, and I was finally introducing her to Sorcery. She was overjoyed, as she didn't know anyone can learn Magic, and thought that you had to be born with it.
"There are beings, even mortals, that are born with a.. you can say, Magical Core, filled with Personal Energies. Like me, or the Elves. But, most Sorcerers are not born like that. Sorcery Masters usually help their students with setting up a Personal Core, so they have Personal Energy to work with."
"Next comes Universal Energy. It.. is everywhere in this Universe. The vacuum of space, and even the centre of the hottest stars. This energy is present everywhere. With practice, you will be able to use it for your own use."
"And lastly, there's Dimensional Energy. You know how I have my own Dimension under my control? It's just like that. The energy from my Dimension, and many other dimensions, can be taken by the Sorcerers, and made use of in their spells. Understood?"
Aora nods, smiling widely. So, I smirk, and say, "But first. You'll have to make a connection to the Universe, and the Dimensions. Aora.. I need you to forget all the science I've taught you before, and everything you learned while you were leading the Rescue. For now, I want you to.." I tap her forehead with my palm, and say, ".. open your mind."
~~~Two Years Later~~~
It's been two years since Aora began learning Sorcery, and I had a couple productive years.
Firstly, I gave the Goblins a Gate, so they can go and Mine Vibranium on Torfa. I did warn them that it's a hostile territory, and they should return to Avalon as soon as they see ships coming. Plus, there was a self destruct button on the Gate on Torfa, so they don't leave anything behind.
Then, I gave my Elves a connection to my Dimension. I did this the same way I did it for Aora. I pushed their Astral Forms outside their bodies and into Solheim.
This has made them into the best healers they can be. Herby had to use Potions to heal a broken hand first. But now, she can do it with a snap of her fingers.
As for the Thunderbird, I made him a gemstone encrusted bracelet, that stays invisible at all times. That necklace will continuously heal the wearer so much, that they don't even age a bit.
I was not going to connect that blasted bird to my Dimension like I did my Elves. At least not yet.
As for the Sorcerers, they were only told by Master Yao, of the fact that the Solheim Energy can be used to heal. If they knew that I can make anyone immortal, just the same as Dormammu can, then there'll be hundreds of Immortals around Kamar Taj only.
Thankfully, the Realm Lord me, will feel immediately if someone becomes immortal via Solheim energy.
Medusa did finally find someone for her to be friends with, and possibly mate with. It was a sea serpent, about 30 feet long. He did have 6 small feet though, so I have no idea what will come of it.
Thankfully, because of that, I did not have to create more Basilisks, but the 7 eggs that I had already kept under toads, will be kept as is. I wanted to see what Solheim Energy infused Basilisk's grow up like. I was careful, don't worry.
As for Aora, she decided she wanted to study more at Kamar Taj, so she can gain more Theoretical Knowledge. I agreed, and happily let her. But, she had to make her Journey there, by herself. I was not just going to drop her at Master Yao's doors.
And now, a month after Aora left for her Journey across Midgard, to look for Kamar Taj, I was sending Groot to Solheim, because he had asked me to. If only he came quickly.
"GROOT! COME ON! YOU CAN PLANT THEM LATER!" I yell, looking at the Forbidden forest.
Somehow, he had attracted the bowtruckles, and they were clinging on to his branches. They would lead him around and coax him to plant any number of trees, that were inherently magical in nature.
That's.. understandable, as Bowtruckles do inhibit wand wood trees.
Finally, he convinces the Bowtruckles to get out of his body, and comes to me. 15 minutes after I yelled out for him.
Shaking my head, I simply spin my hand, opening a portal, and say, "Go. You can stay there as long as you like. The other me will probably send you back if you need to come here."
"I am Groot?"
"Yes, I am there too. You'll see me there. Don't worry. You've taken all you were going to plant there?" I ask, looking at the bag he's holding. The bag has runes on it, that makes the space bigger on the inside, so I have no idea what he's taken.
"I am Groot, I am Groot, I am Groot, I am Groot!"
"Really? The herb? Fine by me. Get going then." I say, waving at Groot to get going.
Groot shrugs and enters through the portal, as I close it back down. Turning around, I go to the Room of Requirements. I have a task I need to complete.
For the past 2 years, whenever I wasn't sleeping, eating, or training Aora, I was in the Room of Requirements, looking through the Mirror, into Asgard's past. I began with the last Convergence, when Odin was about 1000 years old, and in two years, I've managed to get to Odin's first marriage.
Bor died after 100 more years of ruling over Asgard, of some mysterious illness, that was believed to have been born of the Aether. So, Odin took over the Kingdom, and ruled with a firm hand. But, to preserve the peace, he had to marry when he was 1500 years old, and to one of the princesses of the other Realms. He chose Jotunheim, as his mother was a Jotun too.
She was named Angrboda, who was actually short for a Jotun. She was about as tall as Odin, so 7 feet in height. They married for peace, and then 200 years later, gave birth to my older sister. Hela Odindottir.
And now, I'm going to spend all day just watching through the mirror, until I find a fix answer over what I'm looking for.
In her childhood, or the first 15 years of her life, Hela was a cute little thing. She was happy with her life, and the Kingdom was happy with her. She played, danced, learned to fight, and even learned a bit of magic. She even played pranks on the guards!
But then, her mother was assassinated by a Vanir assassin.
She was only 16 when it happened, and it sent both Odin, and Hela, into a rabbit hole. Odin asked Vanaheim for an answer, but Vanaheim simply shrugged, and said, "We did not do it."
That made Odin even more angry. They both began training like crazy, and prompted the Aesir army to do the same, in preparation for war.
At first, no one knew what was about to happen. But that all changed when Odin himself declared War on the Realms. Hela was 300 years old at that point. Nidavellir only had 400 Dwarves at that point, so they came under Asgard's rule readily, not wanting to be even less.
But, they refused to take part in Asgard's war. So, as recompense, they made Mjolnir, for Hela. Capable of channelling Divinity to the highest degrees, it was the best weapon Asgard had.
Along with that, they made Gungnir for Odin. A weapon that never misses, and fires bursts of OdinForce at the enemies that almost always kill on contact, depending on the enemy.
Odin personally trained Hela, to be his weapon, his tool, his executioner. He taught her sword fighting, and even fighting with Mjolnir.
Then, he took her to war, with both of them at the forefront. It was during this 1000 year war, that Hela developed the Divinity for Death, while Odin awakened his Divinity for War. Hela, on top of her loyal Wolf Fenrir, led the Berserker Army, while Odin led the Einherjar, and Hildegarde led the Valkyrior.
At the end of the 1000 years, Odin had brought Jotunheim, Alfeim, and even Muspelheim under his control, after injuring Surtur. But that still left Vanaheim as the only enemy left.
Finally, Vanaheim sued fo peace, in exchange for Odin marrying a Vanaheim Princess. The daughter of Freyr himself, Frigga Freyrdottir, my mother, was to wed Odin if Odin stopped the war, and Vanaheim came under Asgard's rule.
Unfortunately, Hela felt like Frigga was replacing her mother, whom she loved a lot. So, she and her Berserker army, kept on with their attacks on Vanaheim, for a few more years.
Odin, finally having enough of war, and realizing what his actions caused, sent the Valkyrior to Vanaheim, to subdue Hela and her Berserkers.
The Valkyrior managed to kill most of the Berserkers, while subduing the rest, and even killed Fenrir. Unfortunately, that made Hela angry. She singlehandedly slaughtered the Valkyrie. Only the lover of Hildegarde, Brunhilde, managed to escape because of her Lover's sacrifice.
Odin, seeing all this from a distance, used that opportunity of Hela's distraction, and cast a tether spell on her, and banished her to Helheim, never to return. The only way for her to return, was when Odin dies.
That was 2000 years ago, when finally the wars ended in the Realms, and Odin became the Protector of them all.
Brunhilde, as she fell from one of the Old way's in Vanaheim, where they were fighting in, ended up on Sakaar, where she fought in the rings at first. Then, becoming chummy with the Grandmaster, she earned his favour, and managed to become one of his Scrappers.
Odin meanwhile returned to Agsard on his 8 legged Horse, Sliepnir, and used his Runic magic to erase every trace of Hela from everyone's memories. Unfortunately, that did not work on the Magicals of Vanaheim, nor his now wife, Frigga. It also did not work in Sakaar, where Brunhilde was going by the name Scrapper 142.
Finally, 5 months after Groot left for the Sun Dimension, I keep the Mirror down, done with my thinking, and with my mind made up.
Looking at Sol, who had come from her Date/Vacation over the Universe, with a bit of horror, and determination in my voice, and tears in my eyes, I say, "I need to save my sister."
~~~
A/N: Yup. He's saving her. I'll deal with Ragnarok when the movie timeline comes. It'll Probably create problems for me, but meh.
Again, no Baldur/Hela. Just.. no. That's his sister. If MC was Loki, I wouldn't have minded as he's adopted. If they were just step-siblings, I wouldn't have minded. But they have a common father. They're related. Just.. no.
Angraboda is actually Hela's mother, but in comics, and in mythology, her father is Loki. MCU changer her father, but I kept her mother the same.
Many if you have asked if Angela would come. I would just like to say, that Angela being the Phoenix's daughter is fanon, and not canon. I think there's only a single fic with that concept. If you have any link where it says it's canon, feel free to comment.
But no, she won't be present here. She's been overused whenever Hela is mentioned. Sorry folks.
Those complaining, he shouldn't cry. He's only 200 years old. 1500 years old Thor cried when he saw his dead mother. 1000 year old Loki cried when he found out his mother died. Don't act like crying makes you less manly, pussies.
Any questions?
Tata!
I'm taking suggestions on pairing. Please don't repeat the pairings you want. Simply like the pairing of its already there. Rules:
1. No Harem. At most two girls.
2. If you're going to suggest two girls, don't suggest two of the same type. Meaning no two mutants, or two Asgardians, or two humans, or two goddesses, etc.
3. If the one you're going to suggest is already there, simply like that comment. No need to comment MC/Ororo 10 times.
4. No HELA!
