"You've been silent since we left the manor and it is bothering me. Are we going to ignore that I watched Annalise kiss you?" Beatrice asked, looking at Rafael whose attention was on the outside of the carriage. "I'm happy for the two of you. A little bit sad since you two will be away from each other, but happy."
"Honestly, son. Is the entire ride going to be you being quiet? It is bad enough that I have agreed to leave my husband, who will get into all types of danger with me gone. The least you could do is speak to me so I am not bored. It is finally confirmed that the two of you like each other and I have no one to speak to," Beatrice said, missing River since he would listen to her gossip.
Beatrice was almost ready to make the carriage turn around to return to River.
"I am thinking," Rafael answered.
