Capítulo 30: 29 . Bloodied Axe Part 2
POV : MIKAEL
Mika had sat on the bench for at least thirty minutes in silence . Countless walked by him sparing a gaze before they walked away going about their business . Their were weird people in the tower , one more would make no difference . Is what most of them thought .
Mika was going over his thoughts and re affirming his desires . He struggled to maintain a constant state of calm always with his emotions growing every single day . It was very disorienting to gain something back that should have been his from the start .
He pushed of the bench , his face once more blank and his intent bland . A technique he had learned that significantly decreased his presence as well as a coping mechanism .
He approached the shop that had his order , more out of boredom than actually expecting for his weapon to be finished .
He heard the same jingle as he entered and to his increasing annoyance , the guy that should be making his weapon was sited at the counter not even noticing his arrival .
He sat with his head completely rested on the counter as he snored loudly in complete comfort . He sometimes giggled and laughed silently as he mumbled to himself in happiness . Most likely , he was having a very decent dream .
" Be . . . more gentle . " He said and scratched his head .
. Mika almost felt insulted ! He was waiting for a weapon to be made that may have already been made or actually not even created yet . And while he was worrying , this guy was actually sleeping inside here .
This just proved he had been scammed out of 5000 points !! But Mika would not complain . It was a lesson learnt .
/ THUUDDD /
He had approached the counter and slammed down heavily . He was surprised with how someone could sleep so comfortably with being so unguarded .
But then he recalled the tower was a sort of safe area and he had been unable to get a glimpse of the store attendants attribute . That could only mean that the man was actually stronger than he showed .
The man hurriedly woke up and started looking around in panic . His eyes were still a little glazed from his earlier nap and their was a visible line of drool on the side of his mouth .
" Who the heck woke me up ! I was almost . . . oh , it's you ." Mika was almost shocked with how shameless the man was . He was practically smiling right now after he had refocused completely and started rubbing his hands once again.
The switch up was so quick that he would have not believed it if he had not seen it . How the man so easily ignored how Mika had found him sleeping was truly an impressive sight .
" Oh great contestant Monarch , how good of you to arrive on time . I have finished pre pairing you order on the agreed upon time . "
Mika could not hold back the sneer that naturally came to him . It seemed the man was still disoriented with how he had made the mistake that 10 hrs had already passed .
The amount of BS that the man had said almost made him vomit but he held it back in .
Thinking you were being scammed and for it to actually happen were two different things and Mika had now confirmed the second scenario .
" I'm 3hrs early . " Mika did not talk much but the man clearly understood what he was trying to say . He could see the awkwardness build up in his body language as his smile become more forced than natural .
" AHA ! How lucky for you Monarch . Today wasn't such a busy day so I managed to finish you order earlier than expected . Doesn't that deserve a bonus . "
The man changed tunes quickly , already saying how he deserved a raise for something that he obviously had no problem accomplishing .
' Was this guy really stronger than me ' Mika thought but the un observable status screen clearly said so .
" Bring me my order . " He preferred not wasting more of his time than he already had . The attendant realizing he had already messed up was quick to bring him the weapon and Mika nodded in acceptance . It was at least well made . He went over it's design and the information it had .

The weapon was good enough for Mika and the added bonus of an effect only made it better . He was actually impressed a little with how the guy had made it .
His other order was also complete a full set of 30 thin long and sharp needles made from the Titanium alloy . They were normal needles except them being of low-tier green grade
The man waited with baited breath for his appraisal on what he thought and Mika milked out the silence as he weighed the weapon in his arm and did a practice swing to test it .
" It's good . " The attendant breathed out heavily finally relaxing . What would he have done if Mika had said the weapon was bad , He would have have to reforge the whole thing !!
He was too lazy to do it once again ! And he would waste his precious time , he had to go back to sleep , maybe he could even go back to that dream he was having .
Mika saw the man's intent change strangely and he was weirded out by the guy . For some reason he gulped strongly and Mika knew it was time to leave .
He turned away and headed towards the door. He was curious how this guy was still alive with how he behaved but it was not his place to judge other contestants and their behavior . Maybe the guy had really good fighting capabilities .
Before he left the store , he stopped in contemplation . He thought over what he wanted to ask .
" What's your name ? " Mika asked more for satisfying his curiosity than anything else . The man proved to be interesting enough that he was curious with how he would refer to himself
His question seemingly attracted the man as he also looked at him in wonder . He finally smiled boldly , the same wide broad smile he had when Mika first entered the store .
" Boulder "
After he answered Mika turned to leave . Whether this interaction would have any importance in the future he did not know .
He walked away from the store and now that he had a weapon he could use , he decided to go to another area of the bottom layer to test it out .
Mika preferred walking rather than using the warping function of the tower . The training ground was also not as far away as he though it would be .
It did not take him long to arrive here and it was clear that this place was very famous with the amount of people it had . The training grounds was simply a large sort of building that countless people entered and exited .
What it's appeal was he would soon find out !!

An introduction to one of the tower functions which I find will be very use full before we fly off to the next world
