Malcom moved forward, and when he saw the poster, he asked curiously, "And what is the difference between ancient magic and a curse?"

"Curses are always associated with dark and dire events, like suicide," Skyler replied with a knowing smile as she looked at the trees. 

Malcom's gaze shifted at her, with a contemplating expression, as they continued to walk through the forest. 

"How do you know that?" Malcom asked with unmasked interest. As far as he remembered, Skyler was not someone who gets out much. 

In fact, her first expedition was with him. Could it be she learned it from books? 

So she was knowledgeable about curses, too, now? 

Skyler chuckled. She had a nostalgic look on her face as she started explaining, "When I was little, Albert always annoyed me with witches. Often time, he said that they looked for girls with a lot of magic to eat them, and that scared me, so I read a lot about them to defend myself."
