Young Raven didn't make a sound or move when the liquid seeped into his skin, mixing with his blood. His eyes dilated, and he inhaled deeply, feeling the heat inside his body before finally calming down.

The young boy tied his boots before picking up the wooden stake he had spent the entire night sharpening. It was the only weapon he carried, while others entered the arena with irons and rods.

The scientist tried to touch the boy's hair, but he backed away, narrowing his eyes at her.

"You don't have to glare," the woman said with a small grin, but the boy didn't respond to her words.

"Be careful out there," the young scientist waved as the boy started walking towards the game arena.

Raven stopped in his tracks, looking at the woman who was grinning from ear to ear as she waved at him.
