Capítulo 3: Shocking news

After exiting the gate, Jack along with his squad members( some missing) walked through the sea of reports towards the bus which was already been standing there for a few days and had been arranged by the government to receive the squad members after they exit the gate and to take them to a secret meeting room where the heads of the government and all the important personnel of the country were already waiting impatiently to know the situation inside the gate.

In a large hall, around a hundred chairs were arranged to form an arc and those seated on them were the most influential and richest people of the country. Any one of them has enough financial or govermental power to shake the whole of south korea.

The door of the hall was tightly shut and four beast like officers in black suit and equipped with heavy guns were standing outside the door preventing anyone without the permit to enter.

After half an hour, the bus carrying Jack and his squad stopped in front of a 27 floor building around which you can see heavily armed officers petroling the building and its near by areas. Jack and his squad exited the bus and entered the building in guidance of a high ranking officer.

The officer took them to an elevator where someone was already waiting for them and then took his leave.

When the man waiting for them faced Jack he greeted him.

"Hello, Mr. Paragon, my name is Lee se-joon and I'm here to take you to the conference room where everyone is waiting for you all eagerly.

To which Jack just nodded his head in response but said nothing and then followed him in the elevator along with his squad. Lee se-joon then pressed the -4 button on the elevator and they went down to the fourth underground floor.

There after going through some security checks they walked through a long corridor and came in front of the door where the beast like officers were gaurding the door. When they saw the group, they opened the door slowly and allowed them entry.

The inside was already heated and people were talking among themselves as they heard the door opening they all looked towards the people entering the hall.

"Jack Paragon, I as the President of this nation alongwith everyone present here am very grateful for your team's contribution.

Now, let us know the situation inside the gate."

Everyone perked up their ears as to absorb every bit of information about the gate that was about to be given by Jack so as to prepare themselves for the future.

"Thank you, Mr. President for your kind work but that was not necessary as it is our duty to serve our country and does not need any such compliments", Said Jack.

"And without any delay coming to the main topic, i would like to say that the situation inside the gate is quite amazing and bizzare at the same time".

And so, like that he explained everything thing from the beginning like how the gates were connected to each other and no matter which gate you enter, everyone will be come to a common gathering point. And how they meet the others from different countries and after that they took different routes as to avoid any conflicts. The more he explained, the more the people inside the meeting room found hard to hide their excitement as their faces turned red the more they listened.

The overall situation was like this, the world inside the gate was totally different from ours, a complete different world free from any type of pollution, like a paradise from mythology. Many plants and animals were different from that of Earth's. That world has two suns, one small and one big during day time and three moons during the night. The moons were slightly red in colour and emitted a unique radiance which felt quite refreshing. But what's most shocking was that when they killed some small animals to eat, they dropped loots like coins, items, body parts just like in video games and the one who killed the animals gained some experience point as a result. And after some days of hunting made their level goes up and with that they realised that with every increase in level they get 2 sp which can be used to increase any of their basic attributes like strength, agility, reflex, endurance and vitality but it cannot be used to increase hidden attributes like luck etc.

Jack further explained, "After exploring tens of kilometres into the forest, the further we went into, the higher the level of the animals we met become and since our firearms were not working inside the gate it was getting hard to kill them and so after four days of exploring the forest we decided to return with the loots we got by killing the animals and the stones that were inside it.

As we were walking down the path we took to enter the forest we heard a rumbling sound from some distance away from us .
