As evening descended upon the palace, casting a warm golden glow through the windows of the reception room, Mila found herself surrounded inside one of the reception rooms, arranged by the second prince's servants. 

Reception rooms are arranged for the bride candidates to spend some time with their family members.

For past two days since they arrived at the second prince's palace, the candidates have been so busy that they have hardly had time to rest and talk with their family. 

By the good will of the second prince, he allowed the candidates to have some time with their families before they arrived at another banquet in the palace. 

Mila was now in one of the reception rooms with her father, Cedric Ventor, her stepmother, Rosalind Ventor, her younger brother, Leon Ventor, and Lorene Ventor.
