Capítulo 30: Possessiveness

At Lavender Pavilion…

Gavin took a deep sigh before entering their chamber. Princess Aliyah had been waiting for his arrival.

"Milady, I–" His words were interrupted by a hard slap.

Smack!

Gavin was stunned, holding his reddened swollen cheek.

"Kneel! And reflect on your actions!" Princess Aliyah commanded him in her authoritative voice.

She looked daggers at him, her eyes burning with fury as though they could scorch him on the spot.

Gavin swallowed hard, his body becoming tense. He reflexively dropped to his knees, obeying his wife. His gaze remained fixed on the floor, unable to meet Aliyah's furious stare.

"You not only offended me… but also my mother. How dare you intervene during Eve's punishment, helping her out?" Aliyah barked at him. She moved across the chamber and picked up something.
