Capítulo 71: Playing Hide and Seek

Outside of a fitting for the suit intended for the dinner party, the dinner party itself, a luncheon with Helena, and appearing for at least a few meals with the family, Mattheus had a lot of time to fill. 

The first day of his leave of absence from his office was spent mostly on traveling to Mecane itself on the long-distance train. He had spent the morning pretty much following Honoria Crown, generally just keeping out of the way and being his mother's escort. After taking a rest until he was woken up by Vincent checking up on him at the countess's request, the twenty-year-old then had high tea with the other social elites while internally wanting to gauge his brain out.
