—[ Clarke's POV ]—
Clarke sluggishly walked back into camp to the one cabin that had people in it, almost everyone else was outside still working on the landmines that Zek had made.
Thinking of the boy that she just talked to not even a moment ago she felt her heart tightening, his words still echoing through her head.
Now that she thought about it though, she understood where Zek was coming from. He had afterall shown her in the goodness of his heart a place that he had found for himself to help her and instead of keeping that a secret, she told someone.
That someone was Finn out of all people, Finn being the same person who had been undermining and speaking badly of the boy for a while now.
It was no secret that Zek didn't like Finn very much, that much was apparent in the way Zek always disregarded Finn and didn't care much for him but since Zek was good friends with Raven; Finn's girlfriend, Finn got off with fairly light punishments if any at all.
But Clarke knew that from now on that would change, Raven had pointed and threatened to kill Zek, her childhood friend from what she had heard from Raven herself when she had asked about her past and life on the Ark.
Raven had pointed a gun at him and threatened him all for the sake of Finn.
Then the unexpected happened when Finn in a fit of madness cut Raven's throat before running off.
Now she won't lie, when that happened her heart broke for more than one reason.
For the fact that a guy she had liked would do such a thing to someone who loved him enough to betray and go against them so that person wouldn't get hurt and the thought that Raven would die right there in front of her without being able to do anything.
Say what you want about their relationship, Clarke and Raven had become great friends over the time that she had landed with no small amount of help from Zek having helped them settle their differences and prejudice.
So to see her throat open like that as blood gushed out would probably give her nightmares if Raven had died yesterday.
But again and again, as Zek had done so since he took over the 100 he did something close to impossible, how he healed Raven's throat with only a slight scar showing in not more than 10 minutes is still a mystery to her.
She knew that the flora had mutated and birthed incredible and fantastical properties and even knew them with the help of Zek teaching her and the other medics in the camp but none of the medical herbs she knew of mixtures that she could make could allow them to do what Zek did.
And so another mystery was piled up to the mound of mysteries that was Ezekiel Sinclair.
So as she walked into the cabin she saw Monty, Jasper and Monty alongside Harper happily chatting while overlooking the clunky computer machine that Zek had made to control every single machine in the camp, or would control every single machine in camp once he started making them.
" Oh hey, Clarke." Harper greeted her with a pretty smile which had Clarke smiling at her too as she nodded toward her.
Staring at Harper though Clarke couldn't help but look at her objectively.
Harper had grown from what she had been in the first day they had dropped here which now that she thought about it, wasn't that long ago.
Both her character and personality had been strengthened in a way that she moved with grace and confidence and it was no secret that she was one of the people that Zek favored.
She and Munroe were people that Zek had come to many times when he needed someone alongside Miller and a few others.
But that wasn't what she was looking at right now.
Now she was looking at how beautiful the woman had become after many uses of the Growth Mixture that Zek had been able to make for everyone.
The woman's hair just like hers had become glossy, and her skin became that much better, her face becoming accentuated almost like those that took the fruit but to a lesser degree, she was beautiful that much was true and from the stares that she got from Monty and Jasper she knew that she wasn't the only one that saw that.
The tight-fit armor that accentuated her curves and body just made it that much harder for people to look away, she could see why Zek kept her and Munroe around.
" Hey, Harper." Clarke greeted back trying to play the incredibly quick thoughts down before she looked back at the two boys manning the machine." Jasper, Monty." She also made to greet the boys.
" Hey, Clarke." " Sup Clarke." Came Monty and Jaspers replies respectively.
" Is everything fine here?" She asked needing something to do, needing to be more helpful.
" Yeah everything is fine, radio coms are fine and the landmines are offline so there won't be any accidents coming up but you should standby in case one does blow up." Muttered Monty smiling at her even as he focused back on the machine in front of him.
" Oh come on Monty, Ezekiel made those." Harper spoke with a roll of her eyes." There's no way they'll blow up, he said so himself."
To that Clarke looked at the girl in amazement at the amount of faith and trust she had on Zek.
" I'm just being careful." Monty replied with a shrug.
" You're always careful Monty." Jasper commented with a snort.
Seeing the light-hearted banter that would probably soon follow she looked at Harper who noticed her looking at her and gave her a raised brow curiously.
" Where's Munroe?" Clarke asked wanting an out from this conversation so she could find a way to be helpful in any way in the camp.
" She's still guarding Raven, it's almost my shift to guard her." Harper said making a move to prepare.
Immediately hearing this her mind fired off quickly as a plan formed.
" How about I take over your shift just this once?" Clarke asked Harper who looked at her inquisitively.
Harper looked a bit apprehensive at that and was in thought before looking back at her." You know what, sure."
Hearing that Clarke grinned and thanked her before walking off.
' Now to get some answers....' She thought anticipating meeting her friend.
