Capítulo 42: - Bar Louie

**Naomi's point of view**

I arrived home from my meeting with Jones, and hour after I left his office. It was getting dark outside, so I hurried back. Not because I was scared of the dark, but because I was freezing. It wasn't even autumn yet, but sometimes the weather in the city can be tricky.

My dad was still at home, as I arrived. He sat by the dinner table in the kitchen, and ate his microwave dinner, while he scrolled on his phone. I greeted him as I closed the front door, and got a lazy ''hi honey'' back, as I took off my shoes.

I walked into the kitchen, and grabbed an apple before I seated next to him. He asked me if I wanted him to heat up something 'from the freezer', but I shook my head and told him not to sweat it. He was never worried about stuff like that, my dad. If I didn't want to eat, then he respected it, instead of forcing me to eat, like normal parents would probably do. I loved that about him.
