Capítulo 28: Twenty Eight

Gaia is in the hospital unconscious. Harry was sitting beside her hospital bed and watched over her. IV fluids were attached to her, and a vital monitor is beeping for every heartbeat. He sighs as he holds her hand and kisses it.

The doctor came inside, holding the results of the unborn child’s condition in her womb. Harry noticed that the pediatrician was already standing and told him the outcome.

“Good thing that the child is still okay,” the doctor said. “The weapon didn’t reach the baby, and there are no complications. We somehow need to have the mother heal until she regains her health.”

Harry nodded, relieved to hear that his child is doing well. The doctor left the room as he went back to doing his rounds. Harry kissed Gaia’s forehead, whispering in her ear that he will be beside her, protecting her.
