"You-, Guards!" Marcus stood sword drawn in his shiny armor, between an emaciated goblin looking escapee, and several of the houses servants, his pupils tiny, but he refused to back off.
He refused to let his father be right about him.
"The guards? The... guards... hehehe... yeaaaa... I don't think they'll be coming," The escapee let out a hyena's cackle, and gripped the bloody sword in his hand, his one eyebrow shooting upwards with an eye that looked like it might pop out, "Do you think anyone will save you? No one saves anyone boy. No one saved us.... and no one will save you."
Marcus raised his sword and caught the downwards slash of the escapee, they were fast, but the strike was weak against his own ox-like form.
Realizing this, he pushed back and sent the escapee stumbling, before pressing his advantage and going to cut him down, but the escapee started to retreat fast, emaciated but hard to hit.
Good evening!
Shorter chapter today, as I'm trying to find a satisfying way to play out the next few chapters in sequence!
I heard a fighter jet up close today flying overhead, theyre damn loud! I thought for sure it's loudness had peaked, when it kept climbing and climbing until I thought the car alarms would go off, or maybe even the cares windshield would break, but luckily it was all good.
10/10 Would Reccomend, as long as you don't care about your ears!
Thank you for your support, and as always,
Enjoy!
